When I spoke to them on the phone they said you could get the cashback at the fish & chip shop so I assume anywhere that sells food will be eligible.Carl2020 said:Still waiting on mine, switched on the 2nd.Curious if Ocado and what convenience stores are on there, hopefully there will be a full list, at the moment it's pretty shoddy with telling you what is eligable.1 -

Amazon also sell food.I know they have mentioned it being supermarkets, I get why they would, but if it's going to be that broad they should have just done 25% off your debit card spend up to £160.

If they'd done that, people would have just paid £640 into a savings account that lets you pay in by debit card and got the £160 that way. I suppose this way it ensures people actually "spend" the money rather than sending it round in circles.Carl2020 said:Bridlington1 said:

Anyone knows/asked if the offer is available to joint accounts if the individuals have already received switching offers? Their terms don't mention any restrictions so I'd be tempted to assume if it's not forbidden it's allowed!0

I thought the terms were fairly clear on this? Having received any switch incentive in the specified date range will disqualify you from the current offer. Current/previous account holders are also disqualified too, so if you hold a solo account and want to switch to a separate joint account you'd also be ineligible.trient said:Anyone knows/asked if the offer is available to joint accounts if the individuals have already received switching offers? Has anyone tried switching with two standing orders rather than direct debits?

did the cashback happen on your test payment?MisterMotivated said:pfpf said:
hi, so the 25% offer appeared within a couple of days of the switch being complete? definitely not before? please update as to the timescale for the cashback to be credited. thank you.MisterMotivated said:
My switch completed this week. I still haven't received any email confirming the offer is active like I was told I would, but when I clicked on the Cashback tab in the app yesterday, the 25% offer showed up there, saying "58 days left". Spent about £40 on it yesterday, so just waiting to see if it shows up in the Future Cashback section before going on a spending spree...
Yes, the number of days remaining suggests it was activated the same day the switch completed. I checked on the day of the switch, but must've only done so before the switch actually completed, i.e. funds didn't transfer from old account until the afternoon (as is often the case in my experience). I can't recall if I checked later that day, but 2 days later I checked again and it said 58 days remaining.
Still no pending cashback but the purchases have a little clock icon as though they're still waiting to clear, so I'll check again tomorrow for an update.0 -

Not yet. The FAQ says report missing cashback if it doesn't appear after a few days but, when I looked further, another page said it can take up to 10 working days after the transaction for cashback to appear in the Future section...

Didn't feel that clear to me. I assumed a new joint account was a new customer entity (it even has a separate customer number), as opposed to the individual customers with sole accounts. In that context it wouldn't be material whether the individual customers had previously taken up an incentive or not (only relevant to them trying to take up a new incentive for their sole accounts).PRAISETHESUN said:I thought the terms were fairly clear on this?
