There we go, that's the second of the new year. @sicjoke producing nice proof (above) of this ongoing scandal. It needn't take me to say that the whole shebang is just one sick joke, with the British public, the courts and the taxpayer suffering the consequences.

As an aside and related to your username, I know Umkomaas well. I traveled SA in the 90’s and lived in Scottburgh for several months. Love the place! (Don’t remember any car parks)

Live in SA for parts of every year. Car parking in SA is generally a lovely experience, most are well laid out with wide enough spacing. Many, like large supermarkets and malls have car parking attendants, but not the penalising variety.  Instead, they guide you in and out of your parking space, will help you unload your shopping into your car boot, take your trolley back for you, and wave you off with a smile.  A small tip is always gratefully received. 

What a contrast to what we have to suffer here!

@Umkomaas Can't thank the likes of you and @Coupon-mad for all your help in ensuring these jokers don't get a penny out of me. Especially when my permit was in my windscreen at the time the bogus piece of paper was put on
