Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

After a number of times to upload his N279, @imsparticus (with help from @Gr1pr) achieves success, and I can now count the case of a CP Plus/DCB Legal collapse and discontinuation. A real gladiatorial effort in getting the claim discontinued, and the resilience and determination to let us see the proof. Nice one. 👍465

Another UKPC/DCB discontinued just before claim. 3 years after first correspondence, complete non-case.
Thankyou for everyone who helped on this forum over the years!

👆DCB Legal out-foxed for the second time in as many days. And they've let it dragon for over 3 years. Well done @thefoxanddragon - you've finally put them and UKPC to the sword ⚔️ .... roar and swoosh!466Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Not a discontinuation, but I wanted to share my experience briefly.
I got a ticket in September 2021; it has taken until today to resolve this. I've been through all the usual processes, the template defences, the MCOL bit, the constant harrassment from DCBL, the DCBL/DCBL 'different companies' nonsense and then finally today I got the very last letter from the court confirming a hearing date in March.
Purely because of other personal circumstances and my calendar in March, I decided to try and settle this or get them to drop it now, rather than play chicken to the last second. I called DCBL to ask if they would consider dropping it now rather than waste my time, their time and the court time - and we settled for £15. I got them to put it in writing, it's done. Yes, I know I could easily have hung on and not paid a penny, and I know this fuels their immoral piratical business model, but the stress that lay ahead was too much.

Not a discontinuation but I wanted to recognise your post. I'm gathering these very low settlements (of less than the £35 court fee) as evidence of DCB's conduct.
