Or, if Asda suits your needs otherwise and you rarely use it. Just top-up £5 once every 180 days to keep it alive. Annoying that they will charge 15p/minute if you do make a call, but at £10 per year, it still isn't so bad.

It's got features I don't even get on my Plusnet contract (5g and wifi calling). https://www.simsherpa.com/networks/1p-mobile/review-and-guideI think RWG mobile is now the best option for light users who don't need wi-fi calling.Otherwise, for extreme money savers like me who are happy to port out and back again to take advantage of introductory offers, Lebara prices can rarely be beaten (currently £1.35 per month for 6 months). 1p mobile works out at £2.50 per month or more.1

I described earlier how I'd tried to go through the procedure on the Asda Mobile website for getting a refund of my credit by voucher and got an error message. Others had had the same experience but got the voucher.
Can I ask how long the voucher took to arrive (be email) because I tried 4 times, getting the error message, but was vaguely reassured that it might still work from what people said.0 -

I requested a refund last week on the 2nd.
Today the 8th, I have just received a text telling me that my balance is zero so hoped that I would have an e-voucher but nothing yet 🤔.0 -
Oh, you only got the text 6 days later?
I just submitted my refund request and a minute later I got that text saying my balance was 1p (no idea why not zero...). All went well, no error messages.
I sent the PAC to RWG yesterday and they confirmed they're working on it and it'll be ready today or tomorrow, super efficient in replying to my questions.

I've phoned again today and been assured that I will receive my refund via email within the next few days.0 -
Unbelievable. Using inflation as a cover to hike rates 150-275%.
Thanks, I wasn't aware of this and have just received a text from Asda.0
