Scottish Power and SEG

Hopefully I won’t have to have the conversation with Scot Power about the battery energy can only ever come from the panels so it must be green! They can’t be so stupid as to think I would charge my batteries from the grid and sell it back at a hugely lower price……. would they?
As it so happens, all my export is from the sun but I could force my PW2 into export mode between 4 and 7 pm.

Scottish Power are just awful in all respects as far as I can see. Not sure how easy it is for you guys to change to someone else, but if you can you'll avoid a world of pain!Debt Free Wannabe by 1 December 2027

Hi there, has anyone successfully completed the SEG process with SP? I'm half way there but can't add my bank details due to a mandatory
certificate requirement. Unfortunately I've got no response from SP as to what this precisely is. Any advice gratefully received.

I spoke to SP FIT team member today. He advised that for those who have made SEG applications they ARE catching up on the backlog. He said that on 18 May 23 the team were looking at 24 Feb 23 dated applications.

I applied originally in November 2022 - all info sent by email. Nothing, so I emailed SEG - they said since November they had new online process using the bot - so I did this - in Fevruary this year. Still nothing. I see on their site it looks like they have updated it further with pictoral info to help. I am sure I did get some info in the wrong boxes but still, nothing. Emailing them doesn't work. You can't just move - they've had months of power from me - I know it's small fry to them but it's a big thing for me. SP complaints department just say contact SEG - but they don't answer. It's hopeless!
