Ok, I stand totally corrected. I think more of a shock situ at the time of reading and its legal jargon mainly around the 'set aside' terminology thinking it was to set a CCJ aside.Coupon-mad said:I'm not sure why you think that's a possible CCJ. It's just the expected transfer of the case to the nearest court to you that hears county court cases. Perfectly normal.
As per the court procedures explanatory thread linked in the NEWBIES thread second post, under the red capitals heading IMPORTANT. KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN.
Glad for you words of ease to my already busy mind overseas working haha. PHEW
So assuming sit tight for now?0 -
TBH it as expected but totally incorrect of me on this occasion as I read the dates wrong. I will amend and take personal note to double check next time, but away overseas.. stress levels were already up there hahaDeltaH3937 said:

There is no pending CCJ.
Sit tight only after re-reading the section in the NEWBIES thread that tells you what happens when.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Excuse me all,
I've moved out of my address that's registered with this case, therefore required to update the courts.. could anyone update me on this process.. still nothing received since the aforementioned court transfer papers.0 -
If you are in receipt of a claim form, simply advise CCBC by e-mail, if it has moved on and you have a hearing scheduled, advise the court where the hearing has been set. Also you MUST send a Data Rectification Notice to the DPO of the PPC; e-mail address is usually found on the privacy page of the DPO web site. For completeness and to make sure they don't try and pull a fast one, advise the claimants solicitor, if it has got that far, even though your Data Rectification Notice should require the PPC to advise all and any of their agents and sub-contractors.2

The last I heard, as above was the notice of transfer to a local court, dated 7th September, nothing else received.
I have since vacated the property 23rd October and still nothing further received.
Just wishing to adjust addresses should anything further be sent .Le_Kirk said:If you are in receipt of a claim form, simply advise CCBC by e-mail, if it has moved on and you have a hearing scheduled, advise the court where the hearing has been set. Then advise the local court, still send the Data Rectification Notice and set up postal redirection.3

You must do all of the above urgently, telling all parties and the court your correct new address for service, or you could miss a letter and get an actual CCJ.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
