I did get Lebara network team to activate Wi-Fi calling on my S20fe 5G and it was working . However, after porting out and then coming back to Lebara, the Wi-Fi Calling option is no longer there which is a shame.

Not sure if this has been mentioned here but I can confirm that the fix detailed below works perfectly to enable VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling on Pixel devices on Lebara.  My Pixel 7A is working just fine taking and receiving calls over Wi-Fi or VoLTE.

As I can not post links then simply search Google using terms 'reddit wifi_calling_on_pixel_7_pro' which should find the reddit post with details.

    Hope that helps.

Amazing! Thanks so much Phil. I can confirm this works for the Pixel 4a 5G (though the article suggests it's only for the Pixel 6 and above devices). I might just stick with Lebara, at least for now 😀
No luck on my Pixel 4 with this. Still no option for WiFi calling under Calls😡

Can confirm the Shizuku/Pixel IMS fixed worked for me on a Pixel 3A. I did have to do one extra step though. I also had to go to Settings -> Networking and Internet -> SIMs -> Wifi-Calling and turn on the toggle there. After that, it worked straight away.

From what I understand for WiFi calling to work on any network you need three things:
    1. The phone itself supports WiFi calling
    2. The network supports WiFi calling
    3. The network reports that it supports WiFi calling for your particular phone

The third one is where it often falls down, and why phones work on some networks not others. With my Pixel 3a I had originally wanted to switch to Smarty (Three) but testing it out wifi calling didn't work, which is a deal breaker for me. But interestingly a Three payg sim worked perfectly straight away, even though they're the same network...!

Presumably networks need to enable some sort of flag for different devices, which they're possibly reluctant to do except for the small collection of phones they officially support to avoid getting loads of support questions about devices they haven't tested with etc, or because of particular agreements in place, or simply just lack of resources.

Part of the decision process the phone does is:

Check if your carrier supports Wifi-Calling
       If not, return false
       Else continue

I think all that the Shizuku/Pixel IMS does is hardcode that logic to just say true all the time. I've used the same patch to make Wifi calling work on both Smarty and Lebarra so far with no issues. On Smarty I didn't need the extra step to go into settings and turn on the other toggle so yeah, lots of random variables at place for the dark art of WiFi calling to work!

That's good news. All I would like now is for Lebara to offer an e-sim for my Pixel 7a.
