Just a thought.I have a conservatory which was totally rebuilt a couple of years ago.I use it a lot as the heat is good for my muscles.I have power in it but it is never used apart from the radio & it would be on whatever room I am in.The radiator is only on in the winter.Love it so much as the back of the house gets the sun later in the day & evening. What I am trying to say is I don’t think the running costs are significant.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Today I am grateful for my garden, for having a good day even with dc off school, for a call from the school with secret advance info re form groups next year (it's a good combo for dc, phew), for finishing off my final elephants and giraffe ready for tomorrow, for fresh water.

I'm a Beatles song - any advance on 64. We're still waiting but I needed a new account and I thought that's the future (it feels awkward atm). DS2 wants her to be early but I think he just wants to get cards and presents on Sunday.6

Evening turtles
I'm reading your new name as grand-mannered
I too am nearer 60 than any other significant birthday
Have had a busy day WfH. Had a nice video call with a colleague. Did some of my self employment this eve.
Ate all my veggies in the form of a sprout curry
Bought a birthday present for DD1 and ordered her a chocolate brownie tower - her request - looks impressive and very sickly! Have to collect it next week and will have to then drive it to work and back home so i hope it survives the journey....
Have done a few more surveys and nearly at £50 which is when i cash it out
Gratitudes - quiet day WfH, keeping in touch virtually (not spoken to anyone IRL only onscreen), relaxed Friday eve

A VERY tiring day at work yesterday, involving a completely different timetable with young ones full of energy! Collected hubby from the airport, he sailed through his hospital tests, so is now able to go on the transplant list! Wool whoop 🎉 will obviously get one quicker if he found a living donor. Said I'd read the info & have a think about it. Been feeling a few symptoms that make me wonder if I'm starting with diabetes (it's in my family), so might not be able to donate a kidney. Will see, have an appointment with Dr at the end of the month.
Quickly got changed & attempted to put on make up, before dashing off to our (2 weeks early) end of year staff night out. Had a great time, haven't laughed so much in ages!! Our last one was 3 years ago.
Stayed the night at mum's. She left for work, I had a leisurely breakfast, then walked into town. Quite windy, you could hear the masts on the boats moored in the marina tinging. Sat for a minute to listen. Collected a suit & a dress from different places to alter. Popped in a charity shop, found a brand new pair of jeans for £5 & a couple of books. Walked back to mum's to collect my car, then did the food shopping. Sold some books to a neighbour, so dropped them off & had a chat. Off for an early night shortly.
Grateful for hubby doing well in his tests, a swathe of flag irises spotted on my way to work, a brilliant night out, feeling ok this morning, not getting soaked in a downpour, good chatsUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
