Incentive paid today for switch date 30th May. Switching into existing Lloyds club from First Direct with no SO or DD.
I think this is my third Club Lloyds switching bonus, last one was 2019 and the one before that I had to downgrade my existing Club to a classic and open a new Club account to meet the criteria.1 -
My switch date it tomorrow and I was paid the incentive yesterday1

had the text telling me to contact them. The phone line says 60 mins to wait. Having a laugh0

I had this also last week, was on hold for 40 minutes, also had a letter through the post saying due to a glich in the system they could not process the switch.
When I did get through the lady just went through the T&Cs again and started the switch again after i told her the account # and sort code of the old account.0 -
Can anyone tell me, on the day of the switch e.g. tomorrow, if it hasn't switched by the morning does that mean the switch isn't going to happen at all, or can it happen later on in the day?0

youngretired said:I spoke to Lloyd's today (after getting a 2nd decline text, both originally for switches on the 31/5). After an hour on hold the member of staff explained that Lloyd's system was automatically declining switches because of the Bank Holiday change, and so if your switch request was made before/over the weekend then this is why it's being declined (the fault has now been resolved so new requests should go through OK).
My sister was told this too yesterday when she called them, though both members of staff confirmed that we would be eligible for the switch incentive still (as they processed the switch for us on the phone).
Why switches that were happening on the 30/5 were OK, we don't know!
So if you know that there is no reason for your switch to be declined and don't wish to stay on hold a long time with Lloyd's, then you may wish to retry putting through a new switch request (note the switch won't happen now until 6/6 due to the Bank Holidays).0 -
