I completed the switch form whilst logged in on my PC. Closing an old BoS account. Switch is due to complete on 15th and have had text messages to say it is going through but I just wanted to check if others completed the switch without using the link on Lloyds home page (for the £125 incentive) and still got the £125?
I'd tried using the link without logging in first on several occasions but it kept failing to go through.

I'm hoping it shouldn't make a difference as long as you meet the T's & C's which i have.

    Thanks
I did the same, switch due to complete on the 17th. Not had a single text from Lloyd's yet.

However Virgin Money have sent a message about the switch so I know it is happening. Will find out next week.
Similar to my experience, I tried to complete the online form to switch a TSB acc into my existing Club Lloyds Account but the form kept returning Ooops something has gone wrong error when I was submitting it.

I have had a letter from TSB saying sorry to see you go, they had the request from Lloyds but I haven't received a text or email ar any letter in internet banking from Lloyds. It's due to switch on 22nd of June, Lets see if it works

My switch completed but no incentive so I'll be calling them tomorrow!

    Will update.
I received the switch bonus (incentive) yesterday.
The switch completed this morning with the balance being transfered over. Never received any text messages or updates from LLoyds.

hi. how have i missed this offer for so long? my last switch was 2019 so i can go with this.

anyhoo...reading back i see there were some issues which seemed to be bank holiday related? iv'e just tried switching after signing in to my account and selecting my existing club Lloyds account but got:

"Something has gone wrong with one of our systems- You can try re-submitting again now. If that doesn't work, it may be better if you try again later."

so i used the app and got the same.....but then got a text about 2 mins later saying:

"hello from the Lloyds bank switching team. we have received your switch request and will contact you soon to let you know the next steps.".

is this any other users experience and if so how did it progress?

    thank you.
  • I already had a club Lloyds account, started the switch to sacrifice one of my nationwide accounts on Monday Afternoon 13th June. Had a text from Lloyds confirming then had another text from there the day after saying the switch will go ahead and it will be complete on the 22nd June. I know it’s the weekend but last night logged into Lloyds and it was actually showing as incentive paid on 18th June.

Think that is super impressive. Think I only had a couple of pound in the other account and doesn’t look like that as been transferred over yet.

In contrast I helped my friend do the NatWest switch, and months later he still hasn’t received the incentive money.

Account opened on Friday and bonus paid today.

Switching date isn't until 7th July!

What's actually stopping me from moving to another bank now? Is there any way they can claw the money back if I move before paying the £3 fee?
