Just had a text from Llyods myself stating my switch 'couldn't be completed' and to phone them up, from a First Direct account

Very peculiar!  I'll have to ring them after work today to find out what is going on there
    Same.....

I applied to switch a dormant Halifax account with an expired debit card into an existing Club Lloyds account.
My incentive was paid yesterday.  :)

Thanks, I just logged into online banking on a desktop PC as couldn't find the option on the mobile app, went through the switch form again (under 'Our products and services > Switch to us' on the green left hand menu), it took a couple of goes before it managed to appear without an error screen popping up but all went through OK and a text confirming the switch team had received the details (again...)

I switched an old Co-Op bank account into my existing Club Lloyds account last Wed (18th May), which should complete on Fri (27th May). Received my switch incentive this afternoon (24th May) :)

I've found out why my switch from HSBC would not go through.  They will not release me as I switched to them (2 weeks) less than six months ago.  Hopefully a good switch will come up in a few weeks' time.

Where does it say in their Ts & Cs that you're forced to stay with them for six months?

To be honest, I haven't looked.  I spent so long on phone calls, online chat etc today that I couldn't be bothered to fight any more. Maybe I'll get fired up again tomorrow!

This switch offer will still be around in a few weeks time, as states you have to start your switch by the 27th June not complete. I agree I don't think a bank can stipulate that you have to stay with them for 6 months before switching away, even if you have received an incentive from them.
