I got in touch with Halifax and they gave me the following phone number for the Lloyds switch team: 0345 604 99562
-
I applied to switch a dormant Halifax account with an expired debit card into an existing Club Lloyds account.
My incentive was paid yesterday.

I spoke to Lloyd's today (after getting a 2nd decline text, both originally for switches on the 31/5). After an hour on hold the member of staff explained that Lloyd's system was automatically declining switches because of the Bank Holiday change, and so if your switch request was made before/over the weekend then this is why it's being declined (the fault has now been resolved so new requests should go through OK).
My sister was told this too yesterday when she called them, though both members of staff confirmed that we would be eligible for the switch incentive still (as they processed the switch for us on the phone).
Why switches that were happening on the 30/5 were OK, we don't know!
So if you know that there is no reason for your switch to be declined and don't wish to stay on hold a long time with Lloyd's, then you may wish to retry putting through a new switch request (note the switch won't happen now until 6/6 due to the Bank Holidays).5 -
Thanks, I just logged into online banking on a desktop PC as couldn't find the option on the mobile app, went through the switch form again (under 'Our products and services > Switch to us' on the green left hand menu), it took a couple of goes before it managed to appear without an error screen popping up but all went through OK and a text confirming the switch team had received the details (again...)0

I switched an old Co-Op bank account into my existing Club Lloyds account last Wed (18th May), which should complete on Fri (27th May). Received my switch incentive this afternoon (24th May)

I've found out why my switch from HSBC would not go through. They will not release me as I switched to them (2 weeks) less than six months ago. Hopefully a good switch will come up in a few weeks' time.0

This switch offer will still be around in a few weeks time, as states you have to start your switch by the 27th June not complete. I agree I don't think a bank can stipulate that you have to stay with them for 6 months before switching away, even if you have received an incentive from them.2
