It is a legitimate company. They are going back to adidas as they suspect letters have went out wrongly to legitimate returns. He is waiting on a call back.0

When did you speak to DWF? I've been told not to contact them as they're poaching for money they're not entitled to and could get messysmartypants1902 said:It is a legitimate company. Sounds like Adidas are going to be sending out a lot of complimentary items of kit in apology...0

I suspect someone at Adidas ran a badly formed query on their returns database. They'll be buying cakes for the office for months after this...2

"Been told" by whom? They are a legit law firm and do act for Adidas. But I expect it's just been a c0ck-up by Adidas and they've passed on details of non-existent debts to chase up.li_am said:

Adidas won't have been silent and then sent legal letter.
I think this thread has demonstrated why making blanket statements assuming that retailers never make mistakes isn't helpful.Grumpy_chap said:
Legal letter won't have been the first step for Adidas, so what are the timescales? What happened in the total period from first purchase to now?1 -
OP did you speak to DWF or Adidas themselves and who is waiting on a call back?
This could make a big difference depending on if it is adidas or the company demanding money!0 -
The OP confirmed that it is a mistake (bottom of page 4).DaveSmeller said:OP did you speak to DWF or Adidas themselves and who is waiting on a call back?

No one is demanding money?DaveSmeller said:OP did you speak to DWF or Adidas themselves and who is waiting on a call back?

I think it's important to highlight that the letter isn't a demand letter nor has any information provided to substantiate what the value is that they're requesting.0
