  • Thank you ladies.

so my PIP is finally sorted and I got the money that I didn’t receive last week so today I am going to call another of my creditors with whom I have a “small” debt (280) to clear that one and close the account :) I could also close another small cc (~160) but I’m waiting as they are considering my request for write off so I might as well wait and see if I can use that money towards something else.
TOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023. All bad debt written off / paid by January 2023. No missed payments in 2023. Only one active credit card to pay off! I DID IT 🎉
  • So! I’m coming to celebrate. Another credit agreement settled and closed. And FINALLY MY DEBT IS <£20k!!!!!!!
    Hurrah well done 👏

  • One of my creditors have denied my request for writing off my debt (which I expected) so I made a counteroffer of paying £350 of the £800 I owe (£350 was my original payday loan and this payday loan has been bought by lantern). My strategy is to offer them what was originally given to me without interests. I hope they can accept this offer and if not I will continue to make token payments until I get to this one in my snowball strategy.

  • It’s definitely worth a try, they may come back slightly higher but anything less than what is currently outstanding has to be a win right?

    Lots of luck xx

  • It’s a website and app where you get paid to conduct user tests (testing beta products like apps, webs and such). It not easy to qualify for a test (thus far I have qualified for two) but they pay very well. $10 for 10 minutes of checking a web and giving your opinion is well paid imo. It’s UserTesting dot com if you want to check it out
