Thank you so much you are all really kind!
so I got news from NatWest and they are indeed managing my loan again in their specialised department. They asked for some paperwork which I provided and yesterday they sent me an email saying they had send all this to the manager for consideration of the written off request although I am still not expecting a positive answer at least I know what going on with my debt!
still doing well with all the other debts. I got the letter from Arvato today explaining that they are dealing with my £2400+ debt from EE and I was expecting this as I terminated my contracts early (I was paying nearly £200 monthly on my phone which was unsustainable!) so I have set up a payment plan with them and I hope they won’t default it. At the end of June I’m hoping to clear three small debts again so I’ll update you again. I’m mostly away nowadays cos I’m having horrendous physical issues so I’m not online much but still tackling my debts and feeling proud of myselfTOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023. All bad debt written off / paid by January 2023. No missed payments in 2023. Only one active credit card to pay off! I DID IT 🎉1 -
I’ve just received an email from Very saying that after reviewing all my documents they have decided to default my account and not pursue the debt any longer. That’ £570 less for me to worry about. I only need to hear from NatWest and tesco now and see what it’s their decision. So I had in total 2 debts totally wiped off and 3 reduced and settled. I consider this a massive winTOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023. All bad debt written off / paid by January 2023. No missed payments in 2023. Great news with these debts getting reduced or wiped off completely! The weight must be falling off your shoulders with each bit of good news!Debt Remaining: £8,781.53

I haven’t written in a while cos I really didn’t have much news to share other than me slowly paying off my debts.
I sent a second letter of reconsideration for write off to NatWest who helds my largest debts (two loans) amounting total of £14862.4
I just got an email from them today that said:
” After careful consideration and in view of the documentation supplied, the Bank will no longer pursue the balances held on your NatWest accounts in your lifetime.”
The way I screamed! This means I only have two debts left. My old vanquis cc and my EE account for a total of 3165.16 which is massively lower than what I had yesterday (£18037.56)
I’m going to try and negotiate this last two but even if they don’t agree, I will be debt free in less than 6 months!TOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023.
