I think that this may be the email address of Noel Quinn.
noelpquinn@hsbc.com
You will need to respond the the LBC.
I have to say I think that this claim may run it's course and you may be as well putting your efforts into dealing with the process. The regulars may have other suggestions.
I would still write to Noel Quinn but keep it fairly succinct.

If and when you write to Quinn I would mention your relationship with HSBC,
That you previously worked for the Asset Management part of HSBC and have now been transfered to ---- and still retain your staff benefits including your staff bank account.
You parked at the back of the HSBC branch in question for a few minutes. It was not apparent that the spaces were specifically for members of staff (which technically you are having retained your benefits).
You are have approached the branch in question who have not been helpful even though it is possible for them to have the PCN cancelled.
You have now received a Letter before Claim for £----- This is likely to proceed to court as this ex-clamping company are extremely litigious. This particular ex-clamping company have been the subject of several newspaper articles in the national press about their aggressive behaviour. You do not want to resort to involving the press but you are at your wits end at the unfairness of this action and the aggressive, bullying tactics of Premier Parking Logistics.
You are asking now as a last resort if you could please intervene to cancel this unfair parking charge notice.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

MazUK said:I sent the complaint by email to both their normal email and the appeals address so that they could not say they didn't receive it. I got no response from their normal one, i got a quite snotty one back from the appeals email saying that i have no right to appeal and that they have sent the matter to the debt collectors.Today I received a letter from their debt collectors. Gladstones Solicitors "Letter before claim". They want £170, and that with court fees it will be £285.What should i do?

When you send your SAR (as the NEWBIES thread tells you to do) tell both Gladstones and the parking firm to ERASE any old addresses they hold in their databases and to mark your current address of xxxxxxx as your service address for the meritless court claim. No paying this to 'make it go away', obviously! Court is where we win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A few recent articles. I particularly like the one where PPL states that drivers do park in the spot where they would have to drive through the concrete post.

I do think that this PCN would have been cancelled if it had been a high net worth customer.

I don't think that you would have anything to lose by writing to Quinn.
It is looking likely that this claim will result in a court hearing. This PPC has been beaten on this forum a number of times.
The PPC will say that you breach the terms and conditions by parking in a "staff only" car park. You however have retained your staff benefits and I assume that you will have evidence of this.
A judge will look at the terms and conditions an determine if you have breached them. You have a staff account and that is an indication of you being still classed as staff.
Is there anything online which indicates that your bank account is a staff account? I would start putting evidence together.
Don't stress about it. There was a poster on here a week or so ago and she was terrified but she got through it and won.

I have taken another look at the car park and there are no signs on entry.
The signage on the wall is small and there are other non-related random signs.
The markings on the tarmac marking out the HSBC staff car parking bays are worn and faint. Not all the bays are for staff only.
If this does go to court then it may be advisable to take some of your own images as the PPC will show their images in a good light. Would you have the signage on dashcam?
This PPC does not maintain their car parks well and it makes it easier to fight your corner.
There is another ongoing case where the signage is similar. Person was picking up a child and could not stop on a red route so parked on the car park of a shop which was closed. Signage looked similar about A4 size. Defence has been submitted and PPL have blinked.

The guy who runs/ owns this firm comes across as a bit of a narcissistic ego maniac so isn't likely to admit he is trying it on or is in the wrong. If you read the language on their website its very snotty and arrogant - loads of gaslighting guff about how motorists winning in court is "total myth" which is BS as PPL have been thrashed loads of times in court! He also uses words including "offenders" and "prosecution evidence" in his narrative! I would advise you to stand your ground and see them in court. You'll no doubt get lots of "good faith offer" begging letters in the run up to court which will make great lining for a pets hutch or litter tray! You have a strong case with hardcore video evidence! They have nothing!
Complaining to IAS/ IPC - it doesn't hurt as they may cancel it to avoid any negative publicity on their brink of extinction in the run up of the new code being reviewed, but their loyalty is normally with the PPCs - but don't ask don't as they and it shows the court you've gone down all available avenues to neutralise this tosh to see it off before getting to court!
The staff at that branch sound completely unprofessional chastising you in front of customers for the sake of a quick phone call 🙄 I would definitely pursue that as can only imagine it must have been somewhat frustrating and humiliating.5 -

This article about a PPL claim is a hoot. They claim that it is possible to park a car in the spot referred to in the article. They invited the Mirror to see this. I would have gone along with this and watched them smash their car up against that concrete pillar.
Like Excel this PPC was an ex-clamper. PPL have been described in the press as a "notorious ex-clamper". I always think that it is best to keep referring to them as ex-clampers in defences and witness statements as some judges think that it is like dealing with John Lewis or Marks and Spencer.
