Fined from Premier parking logistics

HI,
I recently had to drive to collect an item from a retailer. The satnav gave incorrect directions. It took me to a back road and then wanted me to drive through a small alley which was blocked from road traffic and was too small for a car. It was a small road and there were some long lines in front which you could park two cars on at a time. There was a man in a white van parked across 4 lanes. I asked him for help and if he knew where the retailer was as my satnav had sent me here. I've never come across this ever but the man in the van told me he cant help me without looking up. He was doing nothing other than sitting in his van with the door open. I saw a passerby and asked the same, he said he'd "just come from there" and thats its through the alley and some more directions. The passerby also told me that "Its fine, you'll be ok to park here, I've parked here before". The man in the an did not interact or speak.
I know, i know. It was stupid to take someone word for it, ive had this happen before. Unfortunately when your a nice person you have a false sense of of things as you believe that others are like you too. This passerby was basically lying to me and knew full well id get a fine.
The man in the van (it had been a long day and i have health issues that do not help when im tired) was actually the parking enforcement guy. I know i should have know, like i said long day, brain fog. The man in the van was listening to all this and did not give me do anything to help and did not correct the false info the passerby gave.
I decided to hop out for a moment and quickly see if i could get my bearings. As soon as i left the car, in less than 10 seconds the guy in the van was ticketing my car. I cam back like a minute later and there was the dreaded yellow sticker on the windscreen.
The parking area was for a bank that i used to work for and i agreed a TUPE contract upon leaving entitling me to retain all of the staff benefits. The carpark area was for authorised staff.
I was thinking of writing to them on their email and advising im staff remember with my staff id number. However, they may ask or say i wasnt authorised. #
How do i go about with this situation as I have staff benefits and rights but in this situation.
Im a carer and was getting something for the person im caring for, and i really think that the companies enforcement person has been unethical, he could have at least put right what the passerby was falsely saying. Its just more stress now to deal with this.
Thanks

Appeal using the NEWBIES thread template appeal but replace the sentence about pay and display machines with a sentence that no grace period was allowed and that the driver was looking for the terms on a sign in a fairly nondescript back yard, while a man in a van watched him and issued a PCN within one minute.
DO NOT IMPLY WHO WAS DRIVING.
You could attach the proof of employee status but that risks implying who was driving, especially if there are notes they might produce to POPLA* saying there was one occupant of the car.
* is POPLA next, according to the predatory PCN? Are PPL in the BPA AOS?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you retain bank staff benefits, are they able to help? Have they contracted with the PPC to operate in the car park? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

In addition to the above, this smacks of entrapment to me. You actually addressed a question to the 'man in the van'. To NOT answer truthfully has to be a deliberate attempt to deceive you, IMHOThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.6

What is the name of the PPC on the PCN?
Because, Mr Wilkins is no longer on the IPC list of AOS members, only his "new" company, "Premier Parking Enforcement Ltd".5 -
Was it Walton Wilkins himself in the van? His mugshot is easy to find online!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you a link to the road where the car park is situated? PPL is a grubby ex clamping company. Many of their car parks are not well maintained.
There are cases on this forum where there would appear to be some sharp practices going on. There are a lot of ticket machine issues.

His picture is on here. He doesn't look massively different now, just changed his hair a bit.
Definitely entrapping and predatory behaviour.3 -
HI everyone. Thank you to everyone helping.I dont know why but ive been unable to reply to individual comments, it keeps saying im 9 characters short no matter how many characters are there.I didnt particularly wanted to contact them. I worked in a different part of the business. But its a good point, i will talk to the manager )if i can get hold of them) and see if i can get it sorted out that way. The signage seems to indicate that they may have a agreement with the business for the parking. I have attached some pics of the ticket and sign that i saw later. He certainly actively did not help. It has been the first time ive ever had someone just pointblank say that they wont help youThe ticket and sign say "Premier Parking Enforcement LTD".Hi, there was no parking permit. I was made redundant from a different part of the business, and they wanted me to stay on on a special contract called TUPE, in which if i stay on with the new company until the handover was complete, they would give staff benefits after i had left them, then the new company would make you redundant. In real life the only benefit was a staff bank account status which, when i dont one transaction after many years that actually made use of it and save probably less than £1, the lady doing the transaction got cross with me, very patronising, and then not long after my overdraft was cut in half. I strongly suspect ot had something to do with that stroppy lady. BUt, in theory i should have parking benefits too since i should have held those perks still (although i do understand its all tongue in cheek, yes i would need a permit still true). Here is a link with the place. Certainly sharp practice here with all that went on.Looks like i cant post links but if you add the following after the google and maps in the url you will get there. If not you can google HSBC bank in Poplars Way Solihull, its in the back of the bank smalll carpark.@52.4147788,-1.7793702,3a,75y,191.76h,70.79t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1ssazkorAM2HcM65-ycaB_Gg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656That is right, no permit. It was a lad in his mid 20s id hazard a guess. Thanks everyone for your help. Its much appreciated. I will try and contact the business but knowing what the Managers in the business can be lie i wont hold my breathe..
