This video may help answer those questions...

Typically, just three or four people sitting round a table having a discussion.2 -
You need to read good witness statements and copy & adapt those to suit.
A typo caused by machine error (not by you) IS something a Judge will sympathise with, please believe us.
There is a case to attach as an exhibit, the 'PP' Excel case. I'm not in the country and have little time to spend on the forum this week but the other regulars will know the transcript I mean.
You made a very good observation... why is your 'mr' in lower case and all the others in capitals? It suggests the machine failed. Exactly like the PP case.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Court sounds terrifying, but its not. Civil court is nothing like Crown Court or Magistrates which are both daunting places jn terms of layout and procedure.
Civil courts aren't in grand buildings like the Old Bailey or Westminster Mags like we're used to seeing on TV news or even dramas. Most civil courts are in offices above shopping centres or town halls. The Judge doesn't sit on a throne or wear a wig & gown. It's just a man or lady in a suit sat opposite a big table.
My over appearance was virtually over MS Teams where I was suited up in my dining room, the rep in what looked like his nan's living room and the Judge wasn't long screen - only audio. It wasn't terrifying , i was nervous because I cared and was ready for all outcomes.
My advice would be:
* Be early
* Be smart (wear a suit, tie, smart clothes, shave etc)
* Be prepared - have am itenary of uour mai of points of defence
* Be calm, don't get drawn into an argument or petty bickering by the reps as they'll do this when they've got nothing! Even happens in criminal courts!
* Take notes throughout the trial as the reps often misconstrue stuff or sometimes attempt to hoodwink the judge so be switched on!
When the rep sees you making notes and writing down what they say, it can get them a bit flustered! Not all, but some - especially when you've heard something that will catch them out or a downright lie!
It was no worse than a job interview or driving test or other exams - all things you've succeeded in your life so far. It was an absolute buzz winning in court.
IGNORE all the condescending boasts, threats, arrogance in Excels correspondence. Thats basically their loser talk trying to !!!!!! you into paying through fear! They'll also start coming with the "good faith" offers to settle outside court for less. Once these roll in its because they know they're onto a loss.5 -
Is their any chance that you can post up the VRN records please? There has been similar issues in other Excel car parks.
