Is there more than one machine in the car park  - perhaps they have been selective as to which data to provide?

There has been a lot of issues with ticketless machines in a city near to where I live. It has caused so many issues that Excel were removed/contract not renewed from the car parks in question. VRN's not being recorded correctly has been an issue.

Using an example of any made up VRN can you show which characters are showing on the log that match with your VRN?

I am not asking you to upload anything I am trying to drill down to exactly how much of the VRN was recorded on the log. 

Here is a random VRN, BD51 SMR. So using that example which characters/numbers are showing on Excel's Log? Is it the first two?

how did they send the log to you? if email could you perhaps forward on?

Just the first two letters mf 
Its strange as my letters are shown as lower case an the other registrations are shown in capital letters so how has the machine managed that 

it’s not sent by email was in post 

also they want £245 in total is this if it goes to court it will be that much

NOT your fault then, it is a faulty PDT.  How many times in recent weeks have we read threads where posters are abso-bloomin-lootly convinced they put their full VRM into the terminal only to get NO receipt or a ticket with half their VRM printed.  Stand firm!
