The gunk the nurse got out 🤢 My hearing was fine afterwards.Well done on the weight loss. As you know the first week is usually mainly water loss so good idea to leave it. Slow and steady is always best.I think he probably does need his ears syringing but he wont and he seems to think thats not the problem anyway. He has admitted it is very slowly improving. Thank you re weight loss.

Now for today. Completed butchers visit and bought a blouse as I will need one when my catract is done as they ask for people to wear blouse or shirt for the op and I dont actually own one other than a very old one that is going into holes. The meat came to just under £40 for 8 pork chops, 8 lamb chops a small chicken and 6 packs of bacon. The bacon should last 2 weeks - yes I know but its not me that eats bacon.Mr LH has been annoying today. I told him I am going to get in touch with some decorators for the hall and stairs and showed him the hole in the carpet by the lounge door. His comment was the decorator wont replace the carpet! I said there was no point in getting a carpet with when the wallpaper is hanging off the wall. His comment "whatever". He makes me sso cross sometimes. This evening i asked if he had noticed my meals were healthier. No came the answer with no further comment. This is what always happens he moans about my weight but I get no support whatever which makes it harder. He sits eating bags of crisps every afternoon which is a hard time for me but I am determined he will not deter me this time.I am going to bore everyone with detailing my food each day to keep me accountable so sorry about that. Overnight oats with stewed apple and a couple of strawberries for breakfast. A bowl of salad followed by some left over baked beans and 1 slice of wholemeal bread for lunch and dinner was a pork chop, baked potato, broccoli, peas and carrots with a spoonful of apple sauce. I have also had a few grapes and shared a banana with Bear. He got most of it but no grapes as they are poisonous to dogs.Lounge has been hoovered and some washing put away. The ironing pile is becomming dangerously near needing doing.I am trying to speed up my walking when out with Bear as in the morning I am limited where he goes due to lots of dogs being around and the paths are narrow with houses on either side. He did get very stressed with a dog today but calmed down quckly when it haad gone. I stopped and put him in a sit and talked to him for a bit which usually seems to work.Nothing special planned for tomorrow so I shall see how I am feeling. I hope everyone is keeping well and not suffering with the multitude of lurgies going round.4

I'm sorry Mr LH wasn't more supportive of your plans for the hall - it will look lovely when it is finished. Have you a colour in mind - apologies if you have mentioned this previously.Your meals sound nice - pork with apple sauce is a favourite. I pick blackberries and stew them with apples, then freeze them in small portions for my overnight oats. I know it can be difficult to eat healthily when others in the house don't but don't be discouraged as I found that I felt so much better when I stopped eating so many treats.
You've made a start and even if there are wobbles along the way, making an effort, no matter how small, is better than not doing anything. Here's to a healthy Thursday.3 -
I get similar reactions from DH initially. I have learnt to ignore it and go ahead anyway. I bet Mr LH will be pleased when it's done.
Well done on the healthy eating, do post away, you'll get plenty of support on here!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
It’s difficult eating healthily alone. I have to make two different meals, or just eat smaller portions of whatever I am making for MrWW. I’m struggling at the moment, but get better when I am in the zone.
i take it his figure is perfect if he is commenting on yours? How lucky you are to be living with a naturally fit muscle bound hunk of a man 😬😅Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I have always been heavier than him but have gained over 5stone since we met. It has taken 50years but at least most of it has to go.
I will post properly later.3 -
Evening all.Its been an odd day starting when Mr LH shouts down the stairs t that he wants a doctors appoint because his ear has started to hurt. I was on my way out with Bear and it was only 7.30 so just carried on. I was back in time for 8am when the gp opens and rang. What do you know I was 3rd in the queue. Its never happened before anyway a few minutes later he had an appointment for 9.50am. It turns out he has a middle ear infection so took a prescription to the pharmacy where there was no queue so got it fairly quickly and was home by 10.30. He then went back to bed so I couldnt really get on with much as he hadnt slept so didnt want to didturb him. I did do a load of washing and that is hanging up on the airer.I took Bear for his lunchtime walk on my own. There was a dog on the green we go through so went a different way only to meet someone with a dog at a junction. I stopped with Bear as I didnt know which way she was going and he was starting to bark and lunge at the dog. The owner carried on walking towards us so I asked her which way she was going but only got a mumbled reply so pulled Bear to carry on the way we were heading. She then proceeded to follow us which upset him even more. She eventually went through the trees tothe green that were skirting and then we ran into someone else with 2 dogs who very kindly turned and went the other way as she could see Bear was wound up. I stood with him for a while to give him chance to calm down and the rest of the walk was peaceful.Nothing spent today other than the usual dds going out and have received the house insurance renewal so will have to check that in the next few days.Hospital for cataact pre op so I will have to leave the house at about 9.30 for my 11am appointment. It will take some time as they have to do some tests so will not be home for lunch. I dont want to have to buy anything so will take something with me.Thank you for your support with my healthy eating efforts. i am not thinking of it as a diet more a change of attitude. Food for today overnight oats for breakfast with apple (I found I had a can of sliced apple so will use that until its finished.) and strawberries. Lunch was scrambled egg with salad and a slice of wholemeal bread. I wasnt sure what to have for dinner as mr LH was having something I dont like so did tuna and pasta with mushrooms, broccoli, sweet potato and runner beans. I did extra pasta and only used half the can of tuna so will add some salad to that for tomorrows lunch.I tend not to watch the programmes about very large people as I just feel very sorry for them and i am not keen on the way American programmes portray real lives but have been watching the various ones on All4 and also around the world in 80 weighs and secrets of the supermarket live. Not much achieved today and there wont be tomorrow as I will be out for much of it. I hope you all achieved more than I have.4
