Evening Turtles. Spendy day as had a coupon for £4.50 to use in Sainsbobs that needed using by today. Council tax bill came, £5 increase a month so not as bad as it could have been. Had a email from energy provider saying they weren’t suggesting increased payment just yet, but I had already panicked a couple of months ago and increased my DD from £112 to £200.
Accidentally shut naughty kitten in a cupboard, not sure how long he was there but he looked very grateful to be released. Every time I use the washing machine I have to check where he is after Mothernerd said she had shut one of hers in!
Today I am grateful for a good laugh with one of my customers, DD coming shopping with me (I hate shopping) and a big hug from DS2 after I came back with his favourite ice cream.11 -

I had a lovely sleep last night and woke up at 8am, much better than 3am!
I've had a spendy day as i needed to pay postage for DD2's birthday as she isnt coming home till Mother's Day boohoo. I posted her a card & choccy treat so she has something on the day. I did a top up shop in t0sco, stuck to my list except i bought a pizza for an easy tea on Friday which was on offer. They never seem to have any YS bread anymore but i bought YS coleslaw (long date but battered carton) & salad.
Have been in work all day as had to do a training session, it was good and an hour shorter than expectedThen had catch up with boss about a restructure - I'm going to get a slight payrise (yay) but more staff responsibility. Not sure when it will be implemented...
It is a year since i became debt free! Now i even have (small) savings
Gratitudes - boss keeping me informed; nice chat with DD2 on the way home; cuddles with my cats

Too tired to update yesterday, my eyes were closing whilst watching TV!
Completed day 3 of Pilates routine, had expected it to be 30mins long, but only 15 ☺️ first part of the morning went ok, but the rest of the day was tricky. I'm being shadowed some parts of the day by the new members of staff & pupils often find it difficult. Had a laugh with the office staff before I left. Small spend, donating to Comic Relief & my turn to buy the local paper. Did 100 skips (50 forwards, 50 back), could feel my 'excess tummy hug' bouncing, so will have to do some more 😂 cut out the rest of a chicken & whizzed it up on my machine. Just need to stuff it & do the hand stitching now. Watched a programme (well most of it, see start of my post!).
Happy to give advice about the zip @Shrewbie if you want to give it a go!
Grateful for laughs with staff, making myself exercise - twice!, collapsing into bedUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!

Was a spend day. Had offers on loyalty card for my favourite shop that I added on, money off box of chocolates and biscuits. Got them for a work colleague and myself for treats, for over quite a few days. Also got a miniature rose plant(will go in the living room) and a jasmine plant(will go in my bedroom).
Grateful for:
Being in contact with family members.
St. Patrick's Day.
Having a laugh in work.
Mini fun workout with some work colleagues before start of work.
Lovely relaxing bath.
Getting treats, as well as lovely plants in my favourite shop.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20137 -

Morning
NSD yesterday. Had to go into work to cover a meeting for colleague with covid, got some flexi hours in but not home till 9.30pm. Had a walk at lunch and acheived 10k steps, ate well except for 3 chocolates when i got home (leftovers from sprouts day 21).
Today is payday and we got back pay from our payrise which i've put towards mortgage OP fund. Don't think i'll notice any change next month when NI is increasedI did make it to payday without being overdrawn. Also managed a few surveys before i went into work and one this morning.
Going to have a veggie bacon roll for breakfast to celebrate making it to Friday
