I've had a lovely couple of days, a lovely day off today with our grown up sons, a rarity to have us all together for a really lovely homemade meal made with help!
A be it blowing a hoolie outside and driving rain, we are cosy inside beside the fire.
I was outside earlier and the buds are coming up on my roses, I'm looking forward when they are in full bloom, but I know they have survived the winter storms so far.

I have just taken some rubbish out - quite a bit as it's easier to struggle with 2 bags than make two journeys. I use two sticks. I'd just got out of the door and a passer by (a stranger) said hello and then offered to take my rubbish to the (communal) bins for me! I was so grateful.10
