Just missed a hailstorm on my daily walk.

Good morning chums and a very errily calm at the moment outside my house !!, but although everyone is waiting for the storm to hit I am just as cheerful today
I have
a good book to read
a thermos of boiling water for a cuppa in case my power goes out
plenty of candles
and a warm throw to snuggle under
a good stash of ginger nuts to dunk in said cuppa's
so all the hatches are battened down, and I'm safe and warm indoors.
Stay safe and take care everyone we will get through this storm its not armageddon8 -

Today's reasons to be cheerful:
- I don't have to go out anywhere in this awful weather. If I had, I'd be cancelling it!
- Identical twin grandsons will be 6 years old tomorrow. The youngest (by 10 mins) now wears glasses and isn't at all fazed by it. Added bonus - I'll be able to tell them apart!
- Looking forward to tea tonight - cod fillets done in batter, fish shop style.

Had just enough flour to make focaccia bread
Haven’t had any issues with electricity and felt pretty well prepared if it had happened
had a day off today (couldn’t go walking tho) so managed to tidy up some areas that have been annoying me
have a full freezer so will do a meal plan to see how long it will lastworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?7 -
Morning everyone ,well after the wild night of high winds the damage isn't too bad a couple of tiles and a fence panel, nothing that can't be fixed.
Today the sun is shining and the sky is blue so that cheers me up.
I managed to get hold of a builder who is coming today or tomorrow to give me a quote for the roof tiles ,well I'm on his list at least
No shopping needed, so I am indoors today.
I started knitting some little baskets to fill with mini eggs for my two great granddaughters and got two done last night will make another couple today.
Will probably watch a film later with my feet up nice relaxing Saturday

My reasons to be cheerful today;
Up early so already started the cleaning and laundry
We seem to be between the storms at the moment so I've put the garden back to how it should be
No other reasons to go out so when the weather hits, I will be toasty on the sofa watching movies

Reasons to be cheerful today - seeing little grand daughter running in to hug her great grandad after a few days away with her mummy - they were so happy to see each other again.
The sky is blue and the sun is shining
Washing blowing on the line7 -
Today's cheerful reasons:
- Wishing twin DGSs a Happy Birthday
- Being warm and dry inside whilst watching Eunice's parting gift of snow
- Discovering a £5 note in a handbag I don't use very much
- The smell of freshly baked bread coming from the kitchen
- Started a new cross stitch yesterday and found a surprise free pattern chart booklet inside
Be kind to others and to yourself too.5
