Reasons to be Cheerful

Today's reasons to be cheerful:
- Weather here has calmed down today - it's been a bit breezy but dry and we even had sunshine! I walked to the PO and back and really enjoyed the fresh air after being cooped up for what feels like forever. I saw signs of Spring with leaf buds beginning to open a little and daffodils getting ready to flower.
- Used up some food LOs - korma curry from Saturday's dinner with added chopped tomato, spring onion and shredded lettuce in pancakes made from LO batter. A "free" lunch and the pack of wraps live another day.
- Monthly gas & electricity bill not as bad as I thought it would be, I've even got some credit left!
Be kind to others and to yourself too.4 -
I'm soaking up everyone else's RTBC this evening. I know I have a lot to feel grateful for but I've spent a long day with someone managing my time and I am not liking it. If someone volunteers their time, you should be respectful of it!No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Hopefully train ok so can visit my little Grandson4 -
My car is in the garage, this by itself doesn’t make me cheerful, but it meant we took advantage of the gorgeous sunny weather today to walk the morning school run - can’t beat a bit of fresh air and exercise to start the day and it’s made me resolve to drive less in the morning.
Then we got to get the bus home in the afternoon, which was a huge treat for my kids (they’ve not been on a bus since pre-Covid). They were absolutely overjoyed which was lovely 😅Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Nice that we all have a reason, isn’t it? Me?
Happy that the only storm damage is a few damaged fence panels, and the wind has died.
We made a meal from stuff that needed using - and we enjoyed it!

Good morning everyone, well its dry at the moment thank goodness, hopefully it will stay like that until my builder repairs my roof. No one was hurt even though a tile landed on the ramp that leads down to my garden. It at least missed my conservatory roof, so that made me quite cheerful.
All my Easter knitted baskets are done so just need to find some little ducks to go in them on top of some little chocolate eggs.
I'm off to meet my friends at Dobbies this morning for coffee morning (freebie coffee from loyalty card) so a nice natter and a good few smiles.
Hope everyone has a good day and pass a smile on to everyone you meet ,even a 'good morning' to neighbours could cheer someone up

My reasons for being cheerful today;
- I have no planned meetings in my schedule so it's a catch up day
- I've realised I am on leave on Friday (I had forgotten!)
- Currently no wind, blue sky and the birds are singing

Today's reasons to be cheerful:
I went for a retinal screening appointment today, something I never look forward to even though I know it's important. The clinic was very well organised, everyone was spaced out in the waiting area and wearing face coverings and there were two lovely young ladies running the shebang and putting everyone at ease. I was in and out within half an hour - unlike last time when it took much, much longer because there were so many patients there and the waiting times were horrendous. My stress levels are now back to normal!
The rain cleared in time for me going out and the brolly in my bag wasn't needed.
I had a lovely conversation with an elderly lady on the bus to my appointment that made the journey pass quickly.Be kind to others and to yourself too.5 -
I managed to get 2 lots of exercise in the sunshine today when I'm usually lucky to get just one! Feel much better for it.
Chose health over theatre tickets today, I know when I'm well off!No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.6
