Today’s reasons to be cheerful:
1. Got the car back from the garage - but also enjoying my walk this morning before I had it.
2. Our mortgage company have approved our extra borrowing for building our conservatory 😁
3. I made pistachio chocolate chip cookies this evening and they taste amazing… 🤤Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Beautiful thread:
I am happy because my husband and I are living the life we love, even if others think is kind of weird (digital nomads, minimalists and childfree).
I am happy because my parents are well and always with good attitude.
I am happy because everyone I love is in perfect health
Life is wonderful and although it's sometimes hard, we have to take the obstacles and pass them as best as possible and with a good attitude.7 -
went to our local community pantry and caught up with everyones news while waiting in the que. i took fresh eggs as the girls have started well again now!! they were well received. fantastic bags of food at a wonderful price sealed the smile on my face, as the washing drying in the sun did. hope you are all having a fab wednesday. xx

My reason to be cheerful today is having washing on the line at last! Feels like Spring is almost here

Today's reasons to be cheerful:
- Very breezy but sunny and dry today, so enjoyed a walk to the pharmacy and SM - cobwebs duly blown away. It felt a tad milder too.
- Pharmacy had not only DH's tablets ready for collection but mine too, so that's saved me another trip next week.
- Picked up some clearance bargains from the SM (pantry stock so long shelf dates and all dated end of next year)
Be kind to others and to yourself too.4 -
Today's RTBC:
- I had some free time while it was still light this afternoon so went for a long walk, and feel miles better for it.
- Passed a chazzer and bought some goodies for just £2.
- Ended up in town and wandered into Primark reasoning that their winter range must be cleared for the new season imminently, and found what I was looking out for - the base thermals were finally reduced in price!
- Best of all, I popped into the supermarket but couldn't find what I was looking for so was leaving empty-handed. I waited in a queue for a bit before asking a lady with a pram if I could pass her. As I did, we heard a tiny voice say "bye" which was so unexpected but filled everyone with joy (you had to be there). I smiled all the way home
No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.5 -
Today’s reasons 🙂
- did a work task I’d horribly procrastinated but it turned out fine, hurray!- made a delicious dinner - Chinese style chicken with orange sauce, rice, veg
- went to visit a friend I’ve not seen in ages for a cup of tea and two hours of nattering this evening 🙂Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
