Yes I did thanks Vix, love watching it but have never read any before! I used to read a lot until I had the kids, then it stopped dead overnight 😆 no reason I never started again later on really except I got out of habit except when on holiday. Managed to login last night on olio and there was tons available but quite a way away and already gone. Not sure about regular evening trips out in winter, I’m usually showered and in pjs by six 🙄 will keep checking though.
Just weighed myself and am 3lbs off, surprised and pleased about that, the diet plan so far has been the odd slim fast for breakfast and sometimes lunch and dinner in the evening which I don’t always eat. Plus daily treats of tunnocks tea cakes my new favourite 😆MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4 -
Well done on the weightloss - I don't think I could manage on slimfast and tunnocks tea cakes -I've stopped buying them a sI wouldn't stop at one.Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20223

😆 I don’t stop,at one either!Took mum out yesterday and she insisted on filling the car up, £100! I’ve not been filling it up lately incase it suddenly gets sold. So obviously I’ve just seen a car this morning 😆 it’s in the garage in town , a 05 plate Aygo with 32,000 miles for £1995 and £20 tax perfect I think!Going down at 10 am and dragging mum with me as I don’t want to go alone, hopefully it’s not sold!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2

I love my aygo - mine is 65 plate - so zero road tax. I bought it 4 years ago for £8k. It has a small fuel tank so currently £45 to fill up. But the clock says 300miles. That's just about town. Longer distance it did really well.Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20223

Fingers crossed for the car NG! I'm sure in this day and age you can sell 'with full tank' and it'll be taken into consideration in price!

Thanks guys, good to know you are happy with yours mfd’s 🙂
Well I bought the car, Has a bit of peeling paint on the back and the stereo needs replacing as it doesn’t work, other than that it’s all good I think! Inside great condition and very low mileage. However going from a huge 3.0 sports 4x4 with everything on it to a car the size of a tin of beans is funny 😆 I did get it for £1800 whch I’m very happy with. He looked at the bmw and said only about £2k as we are about to be in the ULEZ zone, but will do some more research and ring me if he can do better.I’m tempted to keep the bmw a bit longer to be honest as it’s booked in to take us and my parents for the cruise parking when we away at the end of April 🤔 the mot and ins runs out May I think and I still have a seperate policy NCD of ten years from the beetle, so could have both for a couple of months. Think I’ll wait and see if they offer a better price and then maybe decide whether to sell now or wait a couple more months. Plus the £100 diesel in it is worrying me, I need to use it up 😆
I’ve borrowed £2k from the offset which will go back when the BMW’s sold so i shan’t change my figures as it’s temporary, that should cover the car, insurance and tax!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2 -
Another aygo fan here, mine is newer so unfortunately higher road tax but goes forever using hardly any petrol. Hope you like it, it will be a big change for you though.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Thanks 😬 it’s very spur of the moment for me, but I do believe when he said it had only just gone up and he had lots of enquires as I check all garages and eBay daily just incase 😆 just got the insurance and went third party and protected NCD costing £147 with hopefully £30 cashback due at some point, crazy cheap! Oh and it appears to have about two thirds of a tank of petrol in it.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁4

Well we have upset our neighbour! Apparently dh parked over her drive late last night- he did! And she came round and was quite rude today (he went to work at 6am so it had gone) I was very polite and apologised, it was only made a dropped kerb the day before and it was dark and he forgot (she doesn’t have a car so its not obvious in the dark). I’m actually a bit annoyed now that she was rude as I went out of my way to be friendly when she moved as she lives alone. It’s not the type of thing he would normally do and a genuine stupid mistake, but it’s made me feel a bit rubbish to be honest, why can’t people be nicer. She’s the one who complained about us feeding our squirrel with peanuts too which we stopped doing.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3
