Morning
Just not feeling great at the moment, lots of things going on in the background that are playing on my mind so thought i would unload on here -
DS got his Alevels yesterday which were ok, he doesn't want to do the apprenticeship he has been offered and wants a year out working to find out what he wants to do, i'm ok with this as he needs to find his own path but DH isn't, DS has got himself a full time job so is not lazing around the house and has a good work ethic, i just don't think he has the maturity yet to decide on what he wants.
My health isn't brilliant and have been to the docs 3 times in the past 2 weeks, lots of bloods taken and more tests to go, will be an interesting conversation when i go back to work as cover will be needed for my appointments, i put off going to the doctors for 2 months as i didn't want the hassle at work.
Money is playing on my mind even though we are ok and not struggling, it's the feeling of not quite knowing whats going to happen next, lots of uncertainty in the world.
Lots of other family things going on with extended family that are niggling.
Onto positives, picked up a like new upright freezer to replace the small chest freezer we have that doesn't seem to be working properly, thought i would replace it before it decided to die. Cost £100 and didn't quibble about he price as it was an elderly lady selling it who had just recently lost her husband and she is having to sell up as can't afford to stay where she is on her own, so sad.
Bought 2 pairs of work trousers from M&S for £12.50 and used vouchers, had them delivered to store so will pick up next week hopefully they fit ok.
Found a couple of bits to ebay whilst sorting the garage out for the new freezer, rescued one item that DH threw in the binso i need to get listing.
Today i need to nip to the shops as we are low on milk and other bits and list some bits on ebay.
Hope everyone is ok xx1 -

Been to Mr S and spent £44 I still need to get teabags but they are cheaper at B&M/lidl so will wait until one of us is passing.
I have bought some curtains off ebay, these curtains i had been after for a while and had retailed new at £120 and at the time i couldn't justify the price,so i've kept looking on ebay ever since and i spotted some for £20 and thought i would bid on them i was the only bidder. They have arrived today and they are immaculate, they don't even look like they have been hung, i'm so pleased.
So today the curtains and trousers have been ticked off my wants/needs list, maybe the universe is listening to me.1 -
All three of my DS’s had a year or so “off” after they had all finished school. I didn’t mind as long as they earned their own money as I couldn’t and wouldn’t support them financially. Always said unless you win the lottery then they have to work. All three of them went on and have had great careers now. I have also told them that whatever career they start out in, doesn’t mean that they have to stay in it. One of my DS,s has had about 5 different jobs before landing and loving the one he is in now.
Dont know whether it’s what’s going on in the world that we have no control over but recently finding things tough myself. Feels like everybody is moaning and I’m the one that they are all moaning too. Also some decision’s people have made in the past that are now catching up on them, they seem to think I have the answer to, where I feel like shouting at them” I knew this would happen”. AnywayPWPS let’s take a deep breath and carry on. X:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002 -

Well i had totally forgotten about the lamb DH had ordered from his farmer mate and it arrived this morning, thankfully the butcher had bagged and labeled everything up so was just a case of playing freezer tetris, i kept out the neck and stewing lamb and have it cooking in the slow cooker, which should make a couple of hotpots to go in the freezer for when it gets cold. Butcher also sent kidney, liver and heart so cook those tomorrow as a treat for the dogs.
My Bother order arrived and really pleased with it, also sent me a free bar of chocolate which is a win, they have sent we another voucher code for £20 off a £60 spend so thinking i will do another order and stock up on dog food and laundry/dishwasher stuff.
listed the item on ebay that DH put in the bin and sold it within 2 hours, will send £20 to CC when it hits bank account, felt very smug when i told DH1 -
