Morning all
Quiet day at home today, done a housework jobs this morning, i've done 2 quick washes this morning and have run out of room on the washing line might hang some bits up on coat hangers around the garden.
Postie has been and brought £5 in clubcard vouchers, so will use that to stock up on some tinned items.
Plans for this afternoon are to enjoy the sunshine and read my book, speaking of which i'm thinking of getting a kindle, but i'm worried i won't love it as i love reading actual books and its a lot of money but i have amazon prime and will get free book so in the long run will save me money. So what do people who have a kindle think?2 -
I joined the Xmas club at Tesco so I get all my Tesco vouchers around the end of November(I think). I save with them as well so that pays for my Xmas food and odd presents. Though years ago I used to use the vouchers to go places when you used to get 4 times the value of them if you exchanged them. Cashed them in once to go to the Tower of London when we were going on holiday down there, saved us £40 at the time.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

Re the kindle, not sure where in the country you are, but our library has free ebooks and audiobooks on Borrowbox. Just sign up with your library card details and you can read/listen for free. There's a really good selection and you can reserve books. You have them for two weeks and have the option to renew. If you don't they automatically return, so no more fines!! DH and I use it loads.3

Hope you're having a good week, stocking up on a few tins sounds like a good idea. I'm obviously aware of how much food prices have increased but really noticeable the difference between branded and supermarket prices too. Supermarket prices have increased for sure, but a jar of tartare sauce branded was £1.25 in L*dl and their own was 45p. Makes no sense!
Sorry ranting there!
Anyway hope you have a lovely day and enjoyable weekend, H x0 -

Looks as though my sig has sorted itself out, must be gremlins in the system.
Just checked out Martins email and used one of the grocery voucher for Bother, bought petfood and washing powder and used £15 off a £40 spend and also got free delivery, hopefully it will get delivered ok.1
