Brambling said:Welcome marrob 👋 I've added you to the chart, wow 7 stone you've done fantastic so far.
Thanks for the welcome and for adding me to the list.
It's not been easy losing that amount of weight. I don't want to go backwards now, need some motivation.
Thank you for running this thread, I'm sure it will help.

Hi hope you’ve all had a good day. Good today was
B. Overnight oats
L. Mug shot and a tangerine
D. Homemade vegetable chilli (loads of veg and kidney beans) with mashed swede and potato from yesterday, an apple.
I didn’t do any exercise though . There was very heavy rain this morning. I’m going to get on top of the walking ,especially as everyone else is putting me to shame. 🙈 🤣 I’m not promising it will be tomorrow though cause I have my granddaughter for the day.7 -
Evening all
Another four miles walked today. I’m fortunate to have a really good friend living next to me who also wants to walk so we go together and it really helps. I added an extra walk this evening to collect prescriptions and post a return. Very nice!
Today I’ve had…
chocolate oatcakes and a banana
salad (celery, cucumber, carrot, tomato) with puy lentils and some of the Xmas goats cheese
dinner will be a cheese and chive omelette and more salad
snacks - apple, 2 satsumas and the big treat is 150cal worth of Xmas chocolate… 💖Grocery Challenge

@CRANKY40 - are you making your own guac or are you buying ready made? If so what do you recommend?? I like the sound of the corn cakes w guac for breakfast.
@EskarinaWeatherwax I also love the idea of a Xmas goat!!!(but love goat's cheese even more!!!)
@marrob - I'm going to add a wow for the 7 stone! I'd love to know what couple of things you did to achieve that - we can all use a bit of inspiration, but me especially.
Which leads me to my WI shame.....(I know we don't do shame here but you know what I mean) I was vainly hoping to start from where I was before Christmas at a zero mark so that I only had a half stone to lose this quarter and had set me goal at 7 pounds. Unfortunately festive feasting has taken it's toll and I'm going to start off with a 5 pound gain. I'm hoping that a return to good practices of lots of fibre, lots of water and no alcohol will allow a quick couple of weeks getting me back on track.
Also trying to be inspired into exercise....as others have mentioned it's a bit difficult when WFH and this is so obvious to me as the days when I am in the office I do double what my garmin tracker expects me to do. So need to get my lardy butt off my chair and move around a bit more. And to not forget to put my garmin watch back on before I do - I tend to take if off when working as it gets in my way and irritates my wrist.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. @Brie no, I'm not making my own although I do have some avocados in the fridge.....it's either Asda or Sainsburys own from the chilled department. I was just so fed up of toast but I do like something with a bit of crunch hence the corn thins which are also from Sainsburys. I don't do my regular shopping from Sains but there is a small one near where I drop my looked after person when I finish work so I had a quick mooch round last week.4
