I haven't weighed myself today but expect I've put on a couple of pounds over the past fortnight, though that will still put me in the middle of the healthy weight category. However I do need to lose some weight to be comfortable and I'll aim for a 7 lb loss for the quarter and that should get me to where I want. So I'll try to remember to actually get on the scales tomorrow morning for a starting point.
Stepped onto the scales this morning. Actually the same as the last time I did that (9 December). Perhaps helped by less than maintenance calories before Christmas holiday. I'll still aim for a 7 lb loss for the quarter.
Problem is "red warning" consumption of both sugar and fat over last few days which, looking in my fridge, may continue for the rest of the week.
Day two of healthy eating and I seem to be surviving. I'm sticking to things that are easy to make until I'm back into the swing of it.
Breakfast : corn thins with guacamole Lunch : egg and bacon toastie Dinner : spag bol (low fat mince and I weighed the pasta) Supper : Crackers and cheese
I'm feeling a bit rough today because I pulled something in my back yesterday. I was hoping that it would fix itself overnight but it hasn't. Clearly my body is telling me to wipe all thoughts of exercise from my mind 😁
I have been on my weight-loss journey for the past four years (nearly) and have so far lost seven stone. However, the motivation is waning as I get towards the end so I thought that joining you might give me the kick up the b**t that I need to keep going.
I would like to sign up for 14 lbs this quarter please and weigh in day will be Saturday.
Thank you and look forward to getting to know you all.
Hope everyone has had a good day. I've kept busy all day putting my house back from Christmas. I could stand it no more and started packing decks away yesterday but really got stuck in today. House now clean and tidy and everything in correct place. I weighed in this morning as my head says Monday as aweigh in day is logical and may stop me going mad at weekends which are always more difficult than weekdays. Anyway just over Christmas I think I've gained about 6lb 😱 so its obviously not a moment too soon. Today I wasn't hugely hungry probably because i've eaten so much yesterday and all the days before that!!
Breakfast/lunch sweet and sour mug shot noodles and 2 tangerines Tea - loads of different veg in a onion tomato and oregano sauce ( a sort of homemade veg bolognese portion from freezer ) with mash made of 2/3 swede with about 1/3 mashed potatoes mixed in and an apple to finish.
I know this sounds really weird and not very appetising but I'm trying not to shop till I've used up what I have. I have potatoes and swede from before Christmas that need using up and maybe I'll freeze some now it mash.
On the plus side I noticed I had more energy today eating less. - hope it stays like that.
Made lunch for tomorrow, leftover pad thai with tofu, kefir yoghurt, 2 carrots and 2 clementine that should keep me going until i get home.

Hardest thing for me is bread, crusty with butter. I don't particularly like salad, veg or fruit, just bananas so I feel like I am forcing myself. I am also a picker so as my treats I am having maltesers so I can have 1 at a time. I've put back on the 2 stone and a bit that I lost, need to find the willpower and some magic bread.

Hello everyone, how's it going? My meals today are
Breakfast : corn thins with guacamole Lunch : bacon and egg toastie Dinner : chicken and veg fried rice (made from scratch) Snacks : 100g seedless grapes, 2 crackers with red devil cheese
My back feels better today but I'm taking it easy just in case so not many steps. If I'm still ok tomorrow I'll start trying to do more although I am working this evening.
Hi everyone, I'd like to join you on your journey, I lost 2st 2lbs last year with an overall weight loss of 6st 2lbs. Still got a long way to go but I'm doing it slowly with 0.5lb target each week. I loosely follow the slimming world diet as a pescatarian.
I work from home the majority of the time which isn't good exercise-wise but I'm working on being more active and hopefully with the lighter evenings coming in I can get out and walk after work.
Todays meal plan is:
Breakfast - Egg muffins Lunch - Cheese and Quorn slice toastie Dinner - Veggie sausage pasta bolognese Snacks up to 300 calories or 15 syns
I'm back from holiday (at NY) and waiting for test results before I can get out!! If I'd have gone to the only clinic near me for a walk in on NYE it would have cost approx. £140 - so opted for postal for £25.00, just have to stay in until they give the the thumbs up (they emailed to day test received today and wait result). Mr Pepper wants to get back to work (and I want him there as he eats, breakfast and lunch), he says he has not put a lb on over our holidays (growl) , he said he manages to eat less when away even though he hoovers up what I leave. Decided that I'm going to pack cereal bars and a few other things for our April holiday. Fruit selection on holiday was very poor, mostly apples, oranges and lemon, everything (fruit) else in short or no supply.... oh and no light mayo.
I have put on, but I'm starting fresh so not worried, just need to get out to shops and get organised, this will happen sometime this week. Again not paying for someone at the fat club to tell me i've put on.
@Brambling can you put me down for 10lb please, thank you again for your hard work last year and for starting this again for 2022.
