Hi All

Welcome to the Old Style Weight Loss thread for quarter one 2022  :)

Please feel free to start posting your weight loss goals for the next challenge which will run from the 1st January until the 31st March  (12 weeks)

You do not have to submit a loss or gain for the first week as it's our starting week, you can post your first loss or gain the week after on a day of your choice.

As usual everyone is welcome - we support and encourage, we don't judge and importantly that includes being kind to ourselves  <3  . All hints and tips welcomed especially during the current time when we may be reaching for food or we aren't able to buy our usual healthier choices

Please send me your targets if you are setting one in either lbs or kgs whatever suits you but only in increments of 1/2 or 1  -  There is no requirement to provide a target or weekly weight ins.

NB - Anyone can join the challenge at any point over the next 3 months   :)

All aboard and Good Luck  <3

Hello. Yes please. I’ve found myself at 15 stone for the first time and am determined to get back down. I’ve had to stop exercising (other than walking) due to an injury - I hope to be back to it by the end of March.

I’m planning to walk 45mins 4x a week with a friend (1000cal burn) and 60 mins alone, with either a day of gardening or a longer walk in the country once a fortnight. I work and don’t drive so am rearranging work hours to give me a day off every two weeks, and will get public transport to somewhere nice.

Ultimate goal is to get to 12st 6. My goal for 31st March is to have lost a pound a week and so be be 14st 1.

    Thanks for the thread @Brambling

@Brambling thank you for adding me to the list already!  14lbs for me please!

In 12 weeks, I would love to lose 2 lbs a week but I know this is too ambitious so I will try for 14lbs. Sounds like a good number and factors in my birthday in January, occasional pancakes and the odd glasses of wine shared with my partner.

    Thank you Brambing! 😊
