Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2022 - 1st Quarter

Hello, I'm a bit late to the party, but can I join? I haven't actually dared weigh myself yet after Christmas to see what the damage is, but I will be brave tomorrow. :-S
Lost a bit of weight for my wedding in October 2021, but not as much as I'd have liked, and since then it feels like all we've done is eat and drink! 2022 is the year to get back on track with our fitness and diet- really need to, all my clothes are feeling far too tight!
I lose slowly, so I would like to be put down for 7lb target for this quarter. Thank you!Jan Grocery Challenge 2023: £181.18/£400

Thanks for that idea....I guess if I split this into 2 so in my mind I'm looking to ensure the regained 5 goes and then not declare any losses until the scale is back to the zero mark and work my 7 from there.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. No - smaller number are easier and much less depressing. Even when the overall total is the same! Welcome beckstar
I'm sure most of us recognise that vicious circle of being depressed about our weight so comforting eating and the dreaded menopause doesn't help, it's what I blame any mistakes I make on the chart

I’m up for blaming the menopause- even though it was quite a long time ago 🤣Had a good walk today. Longer than yesterday so small steps ( literally)
food today :-
breakfast/lunch - overnight oats
dinner - salmon jacket potato and broccoli- 2 tangerines.
have a good evening all6 -
Weigh in day
Starting weight 12st 8lb
Weigh in 12st 5lb
-3lb
Really happy with that as I haven't been very strict or calorie counted, just cut out booze and been more mindful about my eating.
Managed to walk the dogs and hit my step target every day so far this month so increased activity will have helped.
