Much too many ouchies happening!! Been there, done that so sympathies.
@Brambling - where on earth does one find a cat that doesn't eat human food!!?!?! Our first cat Wimsey was the worst, happily eating frozen croissants and found once on the dining table face down in an extra garlicky Caesar salad - it added a certain je nais se quoi to the normal cat breath.
@CRANKY40 - fyi the Lidl guac with chilli - I had it yesterday and it's quite nice with the corn cakes so thanks for the suggestion. I will say though that when they say chilli they mean lots of chilli!!! And - I spotted on my next shop to Lidl that they do a bigger pot of chunky plain guac still for 99p and it has the added bonus of being in a pot with a lid. Looking forward to trying that for comparison.
And now to my WI. Well I'd like to report that I lost 15 pounds. But I'm sure you'd all know that I'm lying lying lying! I'm still trying to edge my way down to my preChristmas zero mark so I guess I'll have to officially state that I'm STS.
I need to try harder to get on to the dry January - why was 3 weeks in December so easy?? And do better at cutting the carbs. OH seems better on board - we've agreed what ready meals we will consider acceptable (oddly mostly vegetarian ones) and that they will be had only a couple of times a week with home prepped meals otherwise. He knows that chicken and salad is my steady go to so is pulling out the stops making lovely dinners - sometimes I think I should have hooked up with someone who had no interest in food - it would have been much healthier!

Brie the cat is from the Cat Protection he was five when I got him and came with baggage as previously mistreated but he has never liked human food, I dread the thought of him needing tablets and not being able to hide the, in food 🙄 one of my last cats could hear the fridge door open from three gardens away

WI for me with 1.5lb loss I think it would have been slightly more if I hadn't raided the chocolate given to me at Christmas

Oh hello my fellow stumblers! You have my sympathies and access to the first aid kit. ⛑I went for a gorgeous walk today, for an hour in the bright sunshine, at lunch, to collect some Olio treasure. I wore walking boots because SAFE and managed to slip on invisible pavement slime! Fortunately I caught hold of a fence panel and righted myself - I don’t want to rebreak my bone!
Today was a ‘not restricted’ calorie day. I can’t restrict every day, I go barmy and rebel within hours. But even on non restricted days my meals are tending to be calorie planned, and it was nice to feel I could treat myself to one of my olio pastries! The rest are safely in the freezer to be doled out in due courseGrocery Challenge

-2.5lbPleased with that from my first proper weigh in (not counting Saturdays to see what the damage was). As it's the first loss since Christmas I know most of that will be bloat/water weight, but still, it's a good start!💖Haven't fully got into the calorie counting swing yet, but I half have, and I've generally been eating much more mindfully. Exercise wise- no running since my stair slip on Sunday, but I have walked, been to belly dance Tuesday, and ballet last night, and have more belly dance tonight, so that's all going well. Hahaha not sure what possessed me to sign up to classes 3 nights in a row this term, so we'll see how that goes! 🤣Jan Grocery Challenge 2023: £181.18/£400

Evening! My weigh day is Saturday but but but I hit 14st 7 today! I may go up again by weigh day so just wanted to celebrate that today 🎉
I’m sure the walking is a big part of it and today was so sunny I went out for an hour again. I’m glad my olio pastries are all safely in the freezer though, I could plough through them given half a chance!Grocery Challenge

Well I am not quite sure how but am absolutely delighted to report another
1lb down
It's given me some motivation to try harder and I am feeling eager to see what next week brings. A pound a week is fine by me

It’s a -2lb please for me @Brambling.
Quite pleased with that as although food choices have been good there has been too much wine drank this week!
Walking has been sporadic this week as well as though I try to get out every day some days I just didn’t have the ‘get up and go’ to do it.46,484 > 0(January)
