Been managing to keep up the dog walking and hit my step target. Apart from one planned evening to celebrate OH passing an exam, have been alcohol free since Boxing Day.
Also making better choices with food and being more organised (made overnight oats last night so breakfast was easy this morning, have soup prepared for lunch etc.). Feeling a lot more positive right now.6 -
Been a busy weekend i went out to my first discgolf open tournament and came third in my division with 15K steps on my fitbit. Then proceeded to put my foot in a couple of holes and now my knee hurts
should be fine though also on the gentle walking, who knew exercise was so dangerous.
Wishing everyone with bumps and scrapes a swift recovery

I woke up hungry today so I've included a few more carbs. I would maybe have tried to fix it with more protein but I was busy this morning making blackberry and apple crumbles to use up apples that someone didn't want (24 apples to be exact - I have used up 18 so far) and I'm working this afternoon so carbs it is.
Breakfast : small banana on toast
Lunch : bacon egg and avocado on toast
Dinner : mother butter chicken and rice. The recipe is mother butter chicken but I leave the butter out which makes it much more diet friendly 😁
Supper : will probably be a small bag of cereal eaten dry. I've weighed it into small bags and put them back in the box so I know how much I'm eating each time.6 -
Hi All,
Well done on all the weight losses! I'm checking in slightly late with a 2lb loss which I'm a little surprised by as I was feeling very sorry for myself the last couple of days and eating far too much. Desperately trying not to reach for the bad things today, anyway enough of my woes. Hope everyone with hurt knees etc feel better soon.
Have a good week everyone.6 -
-0.5 which is nice. Really erratic eating end of week and over the weekend coupled with insomnia probably isn't a recommended way to do things!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

So sorry to hear about everybody’s bumps and falls, and hope you all make speedy recovery’s . I did 7,500 steps today dodging between drizzle and downpours.Really fancied something sweet today so I had one of those individual meringue with a few grapes and zero fat Greek yoghurt so hopefully not too bad
Otherwise I had
homemade tomato soup with a slice of toast spread with the lightest l/cow triangle
Dinner was chicken salad and small jacket potato
have a good evening everyone7 -
I have found my people 😁 I'm currently (fingers crossed) 🤞 without injury but I can fall over my own shadow
I've been to my share of A&E over the years
it's why I don't do anything too extreme like run
some lovely numbers again today 👏
