Hi all,
Hope you've all kept safe in the storms today, we seem relatively unscathed but lots of reports of fallen trees in the surrounding areas.
Not really checked in much recently, the weeks go really quick, my new job is really busy and I think the busy mind is really helping me keep on plan.
I managed a good 3 mile walk yesterday, the steep hill which is horrid to walk up was a lot easier yesterday so that felt good.
I made SW mushy pea curry this week, I wasn't convinced but it was amazing, the whole family ate it even the fussy child. Was also nice getting a meat free meal in for a change.
I have 3lbs to lose to get me to a new front number so hoping to achieve that over the next two weeks. But I'm becoming a complete advocate of the SW plan, even younger with plenty of exercise I never got the losses I'm getting know under other regimes previously done.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

The storm has been scary but calmed down quite a bit now. Car was ready earlier than expected, probably because mechanics wanted to get home and they'd had cancellations. I did manage to get to Aldi so that's one job I don't have to do tomorrow.
Fortunately our new fences have stayed firm and we're so pleased we had one tree removed and another pruned when we had the garden make over last autumn.
Change of plan for lunch today. I'd forgotten about LO casserole in the fridge so JP deferred until tomorrow.
Stay safe everyone. 🤗0 -
Morning all, that damn pound is back on 😤 not surprised really as not been eating properly and my sugars dropped a few times so biscuits eaten 🥴.
Bloody cough is back 😤
Went out yesterday for first time (other than dog walks) since covid. Haircut then shopping. Talking of shopping, I just can’t get a morries magic bag. Keep missing them and only other bags near me are a bakery in city centre (not doing that) or meals from carvery places. Not sure what these would be but imagine a cold carvery in a plastic box 🥴🤣
Back to work Monday & planning 0% Greek yogurt with blueberries & pineapple so will see how I go. Will have left over chicken, baby bel & cherry toms for lunch plus clementines. Tea thinking an omelette but will see how I feel. As for eggs for breakfast, I like eggs but my class won’t 🌪💨🥴.
Any way am hoping to get rid of the pesky pound!
Stay safe all 💞Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Afternoon all, glad that wind has calmed down! Still a bit windy but nothing compared to yesterday. We've ended up with just 2 panels of next door's fence still standing! One of the new ones and one of the old ones - the old one's still OK because until about a year ago it was protected by a shed each side of it. We had to take ours down as it was getting rotten so done that the same time as we replaced our fence. DH has taken all the bits of fencing over to next doors garden so that their management agents can get rid of it - the neighbour was OK with this, after all it's her fence! She's reported it to the management agents so wonder how long it will be before they get round to replacing it! Hopefully a bit quicker than when they did the 2 panels last year - DH had to threaten to do it himself and bill them for the panels and his time! It was done within a week!
Wanted to get some candles from Lidl this morning so while we were there topped up with UHT milk. Was going to top up chopped tomatoes too but they hadn't got any of the ones I wanted so will look next time as I'm not desperate!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, sausages, LO tinned potatoes - P; S; F; 2
L - cheeseburger, onions in soft pitta (run out of WM rolls!) - HEB; S; 3
D - savoury mince & beans, mash, green veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - low fat sausages 2; low fat burger 0.5; cheese slice 2.5
Have a good day everyone and hope everyone is safe.

Just been to lidl and saw small crates of clementines. There weekly discounts said they had boxes for 99p so thought yep get two! Then heard a woman say oh these are nice, even come in a box with a handle. So had a look and thought, !!!!!! they are 99p. So put one crate back. £3.49 so glad I didn’t get 2 🤣

Hi everyone,
No bad damage here although a couple of fence posts are wobbly. A job for when the weather improves. Nice this morning but now very windy and rainy. Glad everyone is doing okay
I was up and out early doors to rejoin group. Consultant rattled through the plan talk (4 of us newbies) and I assume the other 3 had done the plan before too. She's lovely - a bit like a stand up comedian tbh - but IT was very succinct - company news/new Iceland products, then a whizz around the class. My old consultant used to talk for ages and IT was 1.5 hours long which in a night time class meant getting home to eat around 9!
I picked up some lemon juice (thanks Denise) in town and a paper and was thinking of the mango chunks in the fridge. Got home and DH had kindly eaten them. I mean, there's bread, crumpets, yoghurt - all manner of things for him to eat, but no, has to be 'my' fruit chunks grrr.
Food today:
B - pineapple chunks, hi fi bar () - B
L - apple, celery and carrot sticks, SW hummus
D - we are out for a friend's birthday at an Indian restaurant. Will be driving and will order chicken tikka/chicken shashlick or similar, small amount of rice, no poppadum/bhaji/naan.
HEA - milk
Apple was a golden delicious variety and I really enjoyed it - haven't had that type in years as prefer Pink Lady usually.
Hope you all have a good day and stay safe and sound.

TIE - the Mayflower curry mix is 3.5 syns per 100g made up as directed or 3 syns per Tbs dry, except for the Med/hot Chinese curry style one which is 4 syns per 100g made up.
Coxy - not sure if you know but both pineapple and mango are only Free and not Speed foods. Much better to eat Speed fruit if you can.
DH got a Greggs magic bag yesterday and the only thing I could eat was a pot of grapes! Still that's more than I expected! Not Speed and already have some but never mind as still got easy peelers and plums left for Speed.

Thanks Denise, know that but had bought them as a treat as have a sweet tooth. DH said the mango BB date was today so thought he'd better eat them before they went OOD! Might have a flat peach as have one left in the fruit bowl and it was yellow stickered, so better eat it!
Greggs do grapes?!
