I'm feeling a bit better now. Still not quite right but certainly not feeling freezing cold anymore.
Yes, I've tested again @bubbs and I'm still negative. I did test yesterday before going out as I always do every week. I've been testing regularly for months now but at least the current ones are only the nose ones and not the throat as well which I absolutely hated!
So much easier for you to cook properly again now! Looks like a normal Sunday dinner.

Hiya everyone
Haven’t posted as I’m having some trouble with my medication so haven’t exactly been on plan.I’m utterly fed up- eating every two hours, had a bad hypo earlier so trying to recover from that.I’m also very constipated due to the medication (sorry for TMI) which isn’t helping- doctors won’t allow me the only thing that works for me (Lactulose) and have instead given me Movicol which doesn’t work (and they know this)I’m also rebelling- i have a lot of hypos (stupid medication) and the diabetes team have told me the best thing is five jelly babies. My consultant has informed me that I must still syn them as they’re a choice (they’re not, unless I really want to end up in hospital) I don’t agree with this so I’m not synning them. I know it’s only 5 Syns but it’s the principle of the matter. Im going to ring the doctor’s tomorrow and tell them I want to come off the medication and diet control.I want my life back- I literally can’t leave the house at the minute as I’m having to test and eat every two hours and I’ve had to stop going to the gym as even walking upstairs to the loo makes my bloods plummet. I’m really low and depressed all the time and if I could diet control my weight loss would start up again as I wouldn’t have to be eating sugary stuff every two hours and I could go to the gym without fear of a hypo. I get plenty of judgement from my consultant as I’m just gaining and she won’t listen as to why that is either.Ignoring the jelly babies, haven’t been too bad today.B: HEXB granola, blueberries and FF natural Greek yoghurt
L: Smoked salmon and grains thing, HiFi bar (3)
D- SW lamb kebab, rice (2) salad. Skinny bar (3)
S: Crisps (6.5)
Syns: 15.5

Worth trying, like i say trial and error, you need something really that is slow releasing so you don't shoot up and then drop quick againSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Problem I’ve got bubbs is that happens a lot unfortunately- I’m on the minimum dose of my medication and my numbers are usually pretty low. Hence me wanting to come off them altogether.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Morning all, we got the rain yesterday evening and was quite heavy for a while but it's dry this morning, although the patio is still very wet. The wind has definitely dropped thankfully.
I'm feeling fine this morning so no idea what yesterday was all about!
My DD1 got another Magic Bag yesterday and got loads of peppers and avocados so I'm going to pop in to see her tomorrow when I go to Lidl for a bit of shopping (she's only about a 5 minute drive from the town where Lidl is).
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - mixed vegetable soup - S; F
D - goat curry (from freezer) and rice - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all. Sorry to hear the food wasn't great at your D&D @joedenise, good to hear you're feeling better now.
Hope your dad's ok @bubbs and they sort his tests out soon. Enjoy the time in a proper kitchen!
Sorry to hear you're having issues with the Dr's and your SW consultant @Mrs_Ryan as bubbs said, grapes and bananas are great for stopping hypos before they fully kick in; my MIL always has one or the other with her just in case.
Had a busy few days; spending time in the office on Thursday wasn't too bad, got a lot of stuff done, boss likes what I'm working on at the moment, and even managed to diffuse WW3 when two colleagues were having a very heated debate about vaccines 🙄 Friday was a day off so did nothing, Saturday we went to Wisley for a nice walk, then had a 40th birthday party to attend in the evening (lots of fun with an 80's/90's theme) and then yesterday was catching up on house stuff. DH stayed up to watch the superbowl so is off work today. We don't usually do anything for valentines day, might go out for a meal in the days around it if we're lucky, but this year DH has booked us a stay at our favorite hotel in the area with dinner and breakfast; feeling very spoilt 🥰 Won't be indulging too much as we both have to back at work tomorrow but still, will be nice to get dressed up and go out.
To counteract this evening, I still got up and did a workout this morning, followed by a couple of boiled eggs with toast and a clementine and lunch is some lentil and vegetable soup from the freezer. Haven't really been keeping you updated with weight loss etc. recently because I put a lot on over Christmas but this week I've lost 3.6lbs and 9.5cm's in total from various parts of my body, which just goes to show that the little healthy habit's I've been building are actually working!
Right, another coffee and then back to work, hope you all have a good day.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -
Have a lovely evening @ruby_eskimo 💖 and many congratulations on your super weightloss. What a boost. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I think once we know the plan it becomes almost second nature to eat healthily. We all know that we should be regularly eating balanced meals with limited treats. SW just gives an easy formula for ensuring that.
Hope you find a substitute for the jelly babies that works @MrsRyan. 🤗
Much nicer day here today. I used the last of the batch cooked swede& carrot mash and braised red cabbage yesterday so need to make more this week. Not bad considering that I made it to take advantage of veg wars before Christmas.
I'm going to load that app today @joedenise. Those bags sound amazing.
Tomorrow we have to go to a funeral. I'm not sure of the detailed arrangements but it's late morning so we could end up with a buffet lunch. We're out in the evening on Thursday too. I just need to be good when I can, starting today.
Today's EE plan-
B- fried egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks
L- cold meat (P), potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- gammon steak (P), SW chips (F), cauliflower and broccoli cheese (S, HEA2), carrot chips, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
Syns- cornflour 10
