What matters is that you know the packet of biscuits was the culprit @Gettingtherequickly. You haven't gained and hopefully there are no more hidden traps in the cupboards to derail you next week. 🤔😁

I often wish our only Morrisons was a bit nearer so that I could take advantage of their offers. It's the only supermarket that's not within 3 miles of home. I go there when I'm out that way (about 6 miles). Checking online, I see that we do have some Morrisons Daily stores but I doubt they do those bags. I might see if they sell the fishcakes that I like though. 🤔

Thanks for reminding me about baked custard @Matron_Midge. That used to be a regular pudding when I was a child as, like rice pudding, it was good to cook alongside the Sunday roast.

It's lovely here today too @joedenise so, like you, I've taken advantage and put washing out. Seems wrong on the day that @bubbs has to go to the laundrette.

I managed to save a small portion of curry last night too @joedenise. It was a jalfrezi recipe that I found. It was syn free but next time I think I'll add some cornflour to thicken the sauce a bit. It tasted good but had a bit of a watery consistency.

Meal plan and shopping list all done. I'll go to Aldi later as I should be able to get everything I need there.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, banana (F), berries (S)
L- LO ham hash and veg (P,S,F) with beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- salmon (P), cubed potato (F), asparagus, mange tout, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
    Syns- marinade 1, weekend wine😁

What recipe did you use @maman?  I certainly won't be making the massaman curry again!  Potatoes and strips of rump steak don't go together in a curry!  Quite honestly I'd rather have had it as steak and chips!  Probably would have enjoyed it more.

Ended up not eating most of the jacket potato - it didn't really go with the curry, especially as it already had potatoes in it.  Wish I'd made some rice really.

It might be worth downloading the app for Too Good To Go @maman (or anybody else) as there are lots of shops not just Morrisons that use it.  There seems to be quite a few Co-ops and that sort of smaller shop on there although the only one I've tried there seemed to be quite a bit of processed stuff.  Some of it I froze and have used up gradually like the sliced cheese which I've used on top of burgers; ham which I tended to use in omelettes and sandwiches.  The hot stuff DH ate while we were sitting in the car when we picked the bags up (yes there were bags not just one bag! although we needed to take our own bags to that shop.  Certainly worth a look - you can always delete it if there's nowhere near you.  My "local" Morrisons is about 5 miles or so each way but it's the nearest SM which isn't a Premier or something similar!

Does seem a shame that @bubbs has ended up stuck in the launderette when the weather is so good.  In fact I've just got my washing in, folded and put away.  DH will need to put his away when he gets homes from golf but there's not much for him to put away - only 4 things - I did a lights wash and he wears mainly dark stuff.

@bubbs - Glad your washing didn't take too long; that's pretty good for 2 machine loads to wash and dry.

Don't do yourself out of syns - hifi bars are 3 syns not 3.5 so you've got an extra .5 to use 🤣🤣🤣.

But surely if you're not having your picky tea then you could spare the syns for a pitta!  But I agree with you they are a lot of syns for what they are.

You were a real whizz at the laundrette @bubbs, faster than I could turn it round at home. My car had a rare wash this week as it was filthy. I think it's the salt on the roads. 🤔

I've really enjoyed the YS wholemeal muffins, toasted for breakfast this week. They were Sainsburys. Today I was only going to Aldi so I've bought some oat topped deli rolls to try. Both are 1 for a HEB.

The Machines took about 40 mins and then the big driers fitted both loads in  not cheap though!
