So pleased for you @BadCat18👏👏👏👏 that's an amazing loss this week and to get your 2.5 stone as well!
Glad you enjoyed your F&C @bubbs! I always find there are too many chips from the chippy so I never order any and just pinch some of DH's. It's pointless getting a full portion when I know I won't be able to eat them. Hope Morrisons or B&M have your glasses - you really don't want to have to replace them, they are so expensive.

Evening all
Well done BadCat! I had the same loss last week and also got my 2.5 stone shiny! We’re weight loss twins 😂Well I had a melt down today. Rang the doctors surgery in tears and thankfully it was the lovely doctor on duty who knows me and my history (and the one who lost a lot of weight with SW herself so she loves SW) She told me off very gently and told me I need to be a bit easier on myself but she agreed with me that I can’t carry on the way I’m going. She’s cut my medication again and put me back on the normal meds- I did really well on them before but the dose was way too high. I’m now on a really low dose- I’ve gone from 160 down to 40 which I’m told is the lowest dose for my meds.I’ve got my blood tests this week and I’m really nervous- but the doctor reckons that the fact I’m having so many hypos is a sign that the weight loss has had quite an effect. When I was bigger and on a high dose I rarely got them but towards the end of the high dose I was getting really bad ones all the time which is why my dose was so heavily cut. We’ve had a new BBQ takeaway open in our village- they literally cook on a giant BBQ so there’s no oil. Mum has promised to pay for a chicken kebab for me on Thursday, so I’m going to have a kebab and a side salad for an SW friendly meal and I’m really looking forward to it.Todays menu:
B: HEXB Lizi’s granola, blueberries and FF natural Greek yoghurt
L: Mackerel, couscous (0.5) veg. Skinny bar (3)
D- Teriyaki salmon (2) wholewheat noodles, stir fry. Chocolate (4.5)
S: Crisps (3.5) HiFi bar (3)
Syns: 16.5

Morning all. Well done on the loss this week @BadCat18 and good to hear that the loss is having a positive effect on the meds @Mrs_Ryan
Feeling very tired this morning - woke up at 2:11am thinking I'd missed my alarm 😒. This it's because we're back in the office tomorrow and I'm starting to get a little nervous about it. Only managed another 45 minutes or so of sleep before the alarm went off and still got up and did my workout 🤦♀️🤷♀️ Oh well lots of coffee for me today I think. Had ff yogurt with blueberries and half a banana for breakfast, lunch is another tuna rice bowl and dinner is sweet and sour chicken with noodles.
Hope you all have a good day.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20172 -
Morning all, WI for me today. Let's hope that sticking to the less than 10 syns a day has worked and I've actually shifted something this week - it's about time I did after 3 weeks completely on plan and no loss the last 2 weeks!
@Mrs_Ryan - with the new BBQ takeaway make sure they use plain chicken as often they marinade in an oil based marinade, I know my local kebab place do and they never seem to have any chicken available that hasn't been marinaded.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - Jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
D - toad in the hole, roast potatoes, roasted onions, peppers, carrots, green veg - S; F; 6.5
HEA1 - milk
HEB - none planned
Syns - 25g flour 4.5; sausages 2
Back later to let you know how I did at WI!
Have a good day everyone.

Well done on the loss @BadCat18 and lowering your meds @Mrs_Ryan.
Good luck this morning Denise. Out of interest were the good to go bags from Morrisons any good? I've signed up for the app and they seem to sell out quickly in my area - I'm holding strong and ignoring Costa!
Fruit and f/f yoghurt for breakfast, French onion soup for lunch (it's a Slimming Eats recipe I'm trying for the first time to use up a load of onions) and dinner is mince and tatties with plenty veg
Have a good day!1 -
@Jellybaby - it was DH who wanted the Costa bag - I was fairly good and ignored most of it! However there was a piece of millionaires shortbread and I absolutely love that so we had half each but I was good and only had half of that last night (5 syns) and I had the other half after lunch today.
The Morrisons TGTG bags aren't bad usually although one of the bags we got last night I actually complained to TGTG about as we had a bag of spring greens which had a Display until 5 February on them and were inedible and manky. They were only good enough to go on the compost heap! I got masses of peppers - 3 x 3 pack peppers, 2 of which had a week to go on them but that is very unusual normally things are on their sell by date and need using of freezing within a day or two. I took one pack for the SOTW basket. The others will get used over the next couple of weeks and will save me buying any. If they start getting a bit sad looking I'll chop and freeze them but don't think it will come to that as I add them to lots of meals.
I am really disappointed that after all that effort of not going over the 10 syns a day all week (well 10.5 one day but I was lower on most others) I still only lost 0.5lb! Still at least it came off. I just hoping I can get by with STS this week as we are out on Saturday night to a Valentine's dinner and dance which is 4 courses with virtually nothing SW friendly! I've just had a look at syns for what I'm having and if I stick with small portions I might get away with 30 syns for the first 3 courses but the cheese and biscuits! Who knows? Probably at least 20. Think I may well end up with a week's syns on Saturday so after today I really need to keep Low Syn!

Thanks for the info on the Morrisons bags @joedenise, it's peppers I'm needing in particular! I think I'll try and nab one in the next few days. Half off is better than on but understand after not going over 10 syns all week. I much prefer the weekly 'syn bank'
Plenty body magic in dancing will help on Saturday!
