Probably Ice cream?  or Fakeaway KFC?  I suspect the first one though!

How about something like salmon or big prawns, perhaps with a citrus and chilli seasoning for dinner tomorrow?

No neither of them more than the other thing.

No , no good for me for main meal won't fill me up and DH won't eat that

Martin on telly now about energy price hikes

Hard boiled eggs?  I know you eat loads of those!  Or could be quiche?

    Yesssssss eggs!!

    Hiya

Just caught up- 63 new posts blimey
Had a lovely time in Liverpool. Unfortunately being good went well out of the window 👀
Maccy D’s on Monday, followed by kebab for supper, then a lovely hotel brekkie Tuesday, pub meal hunters chicken and chips for lunch, Pizza Express for tea (although I had one of their less than 600 calorie pizzas- the middle is hollowed out and filled with salad- my friend said that was an interesting concept that he couldn’t wait to see how that worked 😂) and supper was a big bag of Popchips and 3 bottles of Corona Zero. Oh dear 😂😂

I did do an awful lot of walking though and I weighed myself this morning- I had only put two pounds on. I’m quite confident I can get shot of those by WI. I wore the Lipsy dress that I wore for new year and my friend pretty much noticed my weight loss straight away which was nice.

Good news yesterday- I officially accepted my degree. Graduation is June- I have a dress but it’s a size 18, I’m thinking I should have gone for the 16 or even 14. However it’s from a brand that re-sells very quickly so if it is too big I should be able to replace it sharpish.

    Thursday’s menu:
B: HEXB Lizi’s s/f granola, FF natural Greek yoghurt, blueberries
    L: Chicken and veg
D- SW lamb ‘kebab’ with couscous (0.5) and salad. Chocolate (4.5) can of Guinness 0.0 (3.5)
    S: Popchips (3.5)
    Syns: 15

Night all. Lots of love xx

    Morning all.

Sorry to hear you're poorly @TakeItEazy, hope you feel better soon and that DH manages to avoid it.

Sounds like a busy weekend @Mrs_Ryan and congratulations on your impending graduation!

@bubbs you can actually "boil" eggs in the air fryer....just a suggestion if you're missing them that much!  They come out a bit more "jammy" in the centre than a hard boiled egg but still pretty good apparently.

Hope the tests can give you some answers @maman

Had a rather draining day yesterday and my head was a bit wobbly.  Need to try and just take it easy and be kind to myself.  Had ff yogurt and blueberries this morning, lunch is going to be roasted tomatoes on toast with cream cheese and dinner is cottage pie with lots of veg.

Hope everyone has a good day and weekend, I'm hoping for a quiet one myself.

  • Sorry to hear about the lurgy TIE, hopefully you will recover quickly.

Congrats Mrs R on upcoming graduation.

Bubbs, your hotel cooking skills are amazing!

Didn't weigh at group yesterday, was so busy at work I didn't have time to think and almost committed the cardinal sin, forget to pay the boys! They would have been seriously unhappy with me this morning, although it would not have been the end of the world, would have done it as soon as they had let me know! Did get on scales when I got home and was -1lb, so happy enough with that, especially as I had been taken out to a Toby on Sunday, although to be fair, there was so much speed on my plate, I did have to say to the others that I am not a veggie! However, it is all of the extras in the veg that could have been an issue, although I did try to take as much "clean veg" as I could, but I know there were syns and there were definitely syns involved in the Yorkshire :)

Pouring rain here at the moment :(
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Morning all, (just!).  Been a busy one this morning; have spent half the morning chopping veg for a huge casserole (the dish is a 30cm diameter)!  I've still got loads of veg left to chop and freeze but will probably leave that until tomorrow as my arm and shoulder are a bit sore this morning.

Sounds like a very busy weekend @Mrs_Ryan.  Congratulations on your upcoming graduation.

I'd heard about doing eggs in an air fryer @ruby_eskimo but when I tried it I found that they were really undercooked and horrible - just a waste of eggs as far as I was concerned.

Been raining really hard here too @Gettingtherequickly but it's stopped now and trying to brighten up.

    Today's plan:

B - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; onion, garlic and mustard powders, egg yolk, Worcester sauce
    L - burger, onions in wholemeal roll - S; 7.5
    D - carbonara - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread

Syns - LF burger 0.5; wholemeal roll 7

    Have a good day everyone.

Extra 3 syns for lunch as I forgot I'd got cheese slices out of the freezer as well so that's 10.5 syns for today!  Was supposed to be trying to do no more than 10 a day but it's only half over isn't it and I've been under the last couple of days!

No idea how the eggs don't burst that they didn't in mine but as I said were horrendously undercooked, they were more like coddled eggs than boiled!

    Hope you're feeling a bit better @TakeItEazy.🤗

Carvery is one of the better SW choices @Gettingtherequickly. 🤞🏼 any extra syns from that Yorkshire will be eliminated by next WI.

Many congratulations on your degree @MrsRyan. Your graduation a great incentive to work towards losing even more weight.

Hopefully the weekend and some exercise will make you feel more yourself @ruby_eskimo.🤗

It's been a beautiful day here. I changed the bed and dried it all outside. 😁

I looked at buying more dried butter beans today as I've almost run out but even in the local Asian supermarket they're £9 for a 2kg bag. I need to do the maths but I think at Aldi prices it's not worth cooking them myself. We're having some tonight that I kept out when freezing the rest.

I bought some YS wholemeal muffins to try today. They're 1 for a HEB. I'm having one with fried eggs (sorry @bubbs😉) on top tomorrow.

I don't think that half syn will break the bank @joedenise. It's tough just having 10 a day but it has to be worth trying. I know it helped me when my consultants said try more water/squash instead of tea. Not the way she meant it but it has helped me sleep better. Meal plan and shopping all done today. We are out for lunch next Tuesday but, other than that, it looks like a good week coming up.

    Today's EE plan-
B- baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- bubble & squeak (S,F), ham (P), beetroot (S)
D- fishcake, SW chips (F), TS broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions (S), butter beans (P)
Syns- Morrisons fishcake 2, weekend wine😁
