Morning all.  Thanks @maman, I never like to waste food if I can help it.  Book clubs are always the same and we never learn - whoever's hosting will put on loads of snacky bits and then everyone brings their own snacks with them also and just leaves it for the host to enjoy.  I usually do the same thing of a massive crudité platter with some hummus, cooked meats (and their veggie / vegan alternatives), antipasti selection, potato salad and then a fruit platter too of strawberries, blueberries and sometimes melon / mango / pineapple too, plus a tray of HM vegan brownies and bowls of popcorn and tortilla chips.  As a few people were on diets this time, they brought their own salad and fruit snacks which weren't opened plus some cookies, crisps and other things I can't remember.  Other people when they host will just make dinner for everyone, sometimes themed to the book we've been reading but that's more effort than I can muster!

I wouldn't worry too much about the smell of food wafting from your hotel room @bubbs, a lot of people will just get takeaways and eat them in their rooms so wouldn't arouse too much suspicion, although the sight of an air fryer might 🤣

Sorry to hear the scales aren't moving for you @joedenise but good to hear the consultant is referring you for more physio.

Had a bit of a lie in this morning as I'll be back to getting up at 5 next Thursday to get to the office, so wanted to take advantage of one last Thursday at home 😆  No workout this morning but I'll do one on Saturday instead.  Will still go for my walk later though so won't be a complete sloth all day.  Had a clementine for breakfast this morning as wasn't too hungry.  Lunch is going to be the last of my hummus, mixed through some cooked pasta with some peppers chucked in there just to use more stuff up and then dinner is going to be haddock with some veggies from the freezer for something quick and easy.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Currently banished to the bedroom as the plague finally got me 🤒🤧😷
If having 3 jabs leaves me feeling like this what would having none doe to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ Never felt so bad and each day seems worse. Desperately hope hubby stays negative, although he gets a PCR at dialysis.
Most people in school got away lightly 😕. I seem to have got every symptom going! The cough is the worse plus headache 🥺🤒

Bubbs have I missed something about you having to move to hotel? Or is it a jolly?
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning all, bit later than usual this morning as have been down to the golf range with DH.  Hit a few balls but not too many as didn't want to make my shoulder too sore.  Seems to be OK.  He's still trying to persuade me to rejoin the club and start playing regularly again but I'm not sure!

@TakeItEazy  - Sorry to hear you've been hit by the plague so badly.  Do hope your DH stays clear of it and can carry on with his dialysis.

@bubbs lives in a lodge and I've assumed she has to move out in winter when the site closes!  She's having a couple of weeks in a hotel and then moving on to a self catering place in Yorkshire.

    Today's plan:

B - baked oats; flaked almonds & essence; yoghurt; frozen mixed fruit; frozen cherries - HEB; S; F; 1
    L - jacket potato; LO bean goulash; salad; LF dressing - P; S; F; 0.5
    D - vegetable biryani - S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - 2.5g of flaked almonds 1; 1 Tbs LF dressing 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Definitely get in touch with your GP when you get back.  If you had your injection in September you're probably due another one anyway and it'll probably take longer than a month to get an appointment anyway!

    Beanie , it's the actifry's turn tonight 🤣🤣

That's bad of them not telling you until just before Christmas.  Could you not have cancelled the hotel and the self catering place without losing your money?

Not surprised you were hungry mid morning if you only had ham and melon for breakfast.

Talking of melon I got one of the snowball melons this morning @£1.55 on Clubcard price not £1.05; full price is £2.20!

Denise I often have ham and melon and usually ok.

No because we didn't book on fkexi, last year we booked on Flexi so could cancel it. But it's so much more expensive to book that way, really thought it would shut this year.

Tea, the chicken was delicious 😋😋 dh said was it expensive I said £5.10 he goes bet you begrudged paying that 🤣🤣 I said not bad considering an uncooked chicken is £4-5
    Loads chips tonight 🤣

@beanielou - it's a big round pale yellow melon which is much sweeter than most melons but does tend to be quite expensive.

@bubbs - that's a shame about not being able to cancel.  The chicken looks good for a ready cooked one!

No @maman today?  Don't remember her saying she would be out and about today!  Hope everything is OK.
