Indeed I do.  Have to say I didn't see them today when I was in there.  Will look out for them next time I'm in there.  Didn't help I wasn't in my usual store and layout was completely different!

Morning all, WI this morning.  Have just added up my syns and only had 68.5 syns this week - hope that doesn't mean no loss again as I usually need to use all 105 syns to lose - will have to wait and see.  Will come back later once I've been to WI with result.

Today's plan is an accidental Green day but won't be using the extra HEB (in fact I haven't even planned a HEB today!):

    B - mushroom omelette
L - carrot and coriander soup (maybe I'll have a slice of bread to use up 0.5 HEB!)
D - mixed bean goulash, rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread (maybe!)
    Syns - none planned

Back later.  Have a good day.

I've been AWOL for a few days due to work - and emptying the (add any swear word here) freezer!  One thing I am certain of is that in future, everything will be labelled and organised!

Breakfast was a sweet omelette with banana, mango and f/f Greek yoghurt, lunch is chilli on its own with salad and dinner is going to be chicken in a tomato sauce with pasta (DS is cooking and has a fancy name for it which I can't remember!).

    Have a good day all!

Morning all.  Also really impressed with the meals you're making in the hotel @bubbs, hope you don't get told off for the microwave!  Good luck with weigh in @joedenise, I'm sure with the reduced amount of syns you've been having, it should pay off.

Had overnight oats with raspberries for breakfast this morning after my workout.  Lunch is the last of the salad bowls and dinner is a sausage and gnocchi one pot dish with kale added in.  Not sure how the kale is going to go down with DH but we can but try 🤣.

Hope you all have a good day!

I'm always impressed by how mse you are @ruby_eskimo. You've done so well not to waste any of the leftovers from the weekend. 😊 I actually create LOs deliberately by cooking loads of extra veg as I enjoy them so much. 😋

Try to look at it as a good opportunity to sort out your freezer @Jellybaby.😉 I label the plastic boxes with masking tape as it's easily removed. I need to label some small pots in there too though as, at the weekend, we almost ended up with curry sauce instead of sweet and sour.

Snap to mushroom omelette @joedenise. I've got some that definitely need using up although I might add some other bits too.

    Today's EE plan-
    B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, banana (F), berries (S)
    L- veggie omelette (P,S), pickles (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S) with spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

Well reducing my syns didn't work!  It was another STS!  My consultant has suggested I do a food diary this week, stick to no more than 10 syns a day and to try a couple of SP days; told her I always feel hungry if I do SP days and she said it should be the opposite as having more Protein.  Think it's just going to be the odd SP meal as no way can I do a full day of SP as I'd end up snacking in the evening!

Need to sort out a Food Diary sheet from my folder and make a start with today's meals!

@Jellybaby I agree with @maman that it's a great opportunity to sort out your freezer.  I use freezer sticky labels and write on them with a Sharpie pen as that doesn't smear.  I found that masking tape often came off when I tried it @maman.

So much for getting my month's menu plan sorted as I've already had to change a couple of things on it after going to Morries to eat yesterday which means the mushroom kebab I'd planned needs to be made in the next couple of days so think it may well be one of the weekend lunches!

Good on you @ruby_eskimo for using up the LOs from your book club group at the weekend and there must have been quite a bit for you still to be eating it today!

Hope things are going OK for you in the hotel @bubbs.  Have you asked them to change your towels yet or are you going to wait a day or two and ask them to do the sheets and towels at the same time so they only need to go in once?

Sorry to hear about the STS @joedenise. I know how you feel as it happened to me 2 weeks ago but 'being good' did catch up. I'm tempted to go to WI again as I feel slimmer but probably won't risk it.

Like you, I find SP meals easier than days but I'm sure some of it is psychological. Your menu today is SP until dinner time. If you had, say  cottage pie with a swede and carrot mash then you'd be OK. I've also tried having chunks of roast carrots in place of potatoes. It seems to help having something to cut into. I rarely snack in the evening but if I'm hungry, because I've had dinner early, I like a bowl of cottage cheese with an apple sliced in. Eating it with a spoon seems to help. Or cold ham and beetroot (😁😋) or celery sticks with Primula squeezed down the middle.

Just ideas as I've never really seen a difference with SP. It would mean you've tried out the consultant's advice but, when you lose, you'll never know if it was just plodding on that did the trick. 🤣

Thanks @maman and @bubbs.  Just going to stick with it and really want to get a loss - just hope the being good catches up next week!

Amazing that they came in to change the towels even though they told you to just ask!  Makes of mockery of what you've been told.

I often save 0.5 HEB to have a coupe of crackers in the evening - normally I'd just have some Primula Light on them but have run out so must put it on the shopping list again.  Tesco didn't have any last time I wanted it and ended up getting it in Morries but it was £1.65 a tube so only bought the one.  I've got 0.5 HEB for this evening so will probably have it with marmite and grated cheese!  Also often have some grapes in the evening but box DH bought last time were horrible, really sharp - I've been persevering with them but definitely lasting longer!  He decided to get another box today and he's had some and said they're much better!

Going to try and get one of the Snowball melons tomorrow which I'll chop up and leave in the fridge.  That will be better than the grapes!  Speed rather than Free.
