@bubbs I'd just be asking them to change as often as they did before even if it means you need to go out for a couple of hours, I'm sure you can find something to do. I think you are certainly not expecting too much. You change your bed at home regularly and so should they; same with towels.

I'd definitely ask @bubbs. I think hotels started doing that even before Covid as a way of saving money. I expect you'll be out a lot for the next two weeks so I'd just tell reception before you leave that it's OK to go in and clean/change towels/bed and see what happens.0

It's not often I'm the first to post and it's almost afternoon! 🤣 Hope everyone is OK.
Last of the chilli from the freezer today so more batch cooking needed.
I'm taking advantage of some quiet weeks to stay 100% on plan. Various friends have been away sunning themselves☹ so we agreed to hold off our usual lunch and dinner dates.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, fried egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk
L- cold pork (P), fried LO veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)

Afternoon all. Been a busy day with work @maman so late checking in today - lots of unplanned calls to deal with which I'm not used to. My job is fairly low key most of the time but recently it appears everyone needs to talk to me now!
Had mango and ff yogurt for breakfast again this morning and lunch was another mixed salad bowl to use up stuff from the weekend. Have enough for one more tomorrow and then it will probably be soup from the freezer for lunches for the rest of the week. Dinner tonight is mushroom risotto which will be very mushroomy as I have about half a punnet of the things to use up!
Hope everyone is having a good day - yet more calls to deal with now.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Afternoon all, very late today! DH was taking his friend to collect his car from the other side of the river so decided to go with him and pop into Ikea! He hates going there so as he was going virtually past it we went! I only wanted a couple of things but DH had other ideas and we ended up spending nearly £40! What I actually wanted came to about £10!
As we were so late getting back and also needed to go shopping we ended up eating in Morrie's cafe but I was good and chose sensibly!
So today's plan:
B - kedgeree - P; S; F
L - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
D - chicken schnitzel, chips, salad - P; S; F; 0.5 HEB
HEA1 and 2 - milk (had a small cappuccino while we were out)
HEB -1 slice bread (breadcrumbs for schnitzel); 2 crackers
Syns - butter 3.5
I've kept within my syns every day this week so really hoping those scales move tomorrow!
Hope everyone is having a good day.0 -

maman said:That's amazing @bubbs. You've done so well to produce that in a hotel room. What a star. 👏👏👏
Tomorrow we are having cottage pie, it's still frozen in the boot of the car 😂i'll just use tinned veg.
Bought some ham for pack up, so i'll have melon and ham for breakfast. i popped in Morrisons just before picking dh up and they had ready prepped pot of salad reduced to 40p, so got for lunch tomorrow and will have the rest of the ham to use it up.Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0
