Welcome @CurrentMood to the thread. As @beanielou says plenty of support here.
Feel free to post your menu plans each day and to ask for any syn values. There's been a new book recently and some of the syn values have changed.
Good luck.

Morning all! Well done to all the losers, especially @bubbs, know how long it's taken for the scales to shift for you.
Haven't weighed in this week because I was so bloated this morning again. Had book club on Saturday and while food was good (two of my friend's have recently joined SW too), I did have a couple of glasses of prosecco and I don't think my body likes anything fizzy anymore 😒 So lots of water and peppermint tea here today to see me through.
Managed a workout this morning, followed by some ff yogurt and mango for breakfast. Lunches for the next few days are salad bowls to use up the random things leftover from bookclub, like roasted red pepper houmus, HM potato salad, all the salad bits and some roast chicken. Dinner tonight is a vegetable curry using courgette, potato, carrot, peppers and onion; trying to consciously eat less meat and more vegetables.
I have a fitbit too @FrankieM (think it was you asking about tracking weight and stuff with it) - I rarely look at the Fitbit app, but I have linked it to my MyFitnessPal account which tracks your weight and how much you have to lose to hit your target. It will track your steps and exercise that the fitbit records but doesn't "shout" at you to walk more, just gently reminds you how many calories you've burnt that day through the general activity your doing, but is good if you want to focus more on the weight loss.

Morning all, it's looking very windy this morning so have put another load of washing on and will get that out on the line as soon as it's finished. Shouldn't take too long to dry. The wash bin is almost empty for a change! It just doesn't take long to fill up again though!
The duck really wasn't very nice last night - it was far too dry and overcooked so ended up binning the rest of it. Will stick to buying just duck breasts in future (and will use up those confit legs that are in the freezer at some time!)
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
L - vegetable and pulses soup (from freezer) - P; S; F
D - spag bol - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone
Sorry I been AWOL, I have been struggling a bit with my mental health. I have been lurking though and have read all your posts xxBut I have some good news to report- I weighed at a different local group today as I’m off to Liverpool today and I couldn’t find a group I could get to there.I lost 4.5lbs and finally got that dam 2.5 stone award!!!Relieved now.Lots of love xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.201 -
Well done @Mrs_Ryan
We've decided to switch the fridge freezer off Thursday night to defrost and DS will unblock the drain flow (if that is the problem) on Friday afternoon after work. I'm a bit stressed working out how to use up the meat but think I have come up with a plan so will cook all day Friday and hopefully freeze that night - fingers crossed!
Today I've had fruit and yoghurt, pea and ham soup is defrosting for lunch along with the pork mincewhich will be turned into pork and apple burgers with salad and wedges for dinner.
Have a good day all!1 -
Great losses @Jellybaby and @MrsRyan. So pleased for you both. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hope your plan works for the freezer @Jellybaby. Great idea to do some batch cooking. Do you have a Plan B where perhaps someone would lend you a bit of freezer space? 🤔
Enjoy Liverpool @MrsRyan. So much to do and see there. I've stayed at Albert Dock several times.😊
Welcome @CurrentMood. Like you, I prefer to set realistic goals rather than aim too high. Some people make the mistake of treating SW as a diet and going at it bull at a gate and having minimal syns. They see results to begin with but soon give up or achieve their target and then go back to whatever made them fat in the first place.🤣 I posted the other day that although SW holds weekly meetings, we don't always lose weight in neat weekly chunks. Provided you stick to plan you'll lose, eventually. 😉
Sorry to hear that the prosecco didn't agree with you @ruby_eskimo. I was only giving the heads up the other day that it's much lower syn than other white wines.
Such a shame about the duck @joedenise. It must have been bad for you to throw it away.
Today's EE plan-
B- scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold pork (P), 1 potato (F), LO veg and pickles (S)
D- baked cod (P), potato cubes (F), carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, spicy cauliflower (S)
Syns- 02
