I have those sardines @bubbs. 😋 If you like mackerel, try the Princes mackerel in mustard sauce. That's yummy and often on offer.
Not sure if you have a Sainsburys @joedenise but Primula is £1 there at the moment.2 -
Denise, i saw the snowball melon today, they were on an end.
Yes very strange them coming in, DH was fretting about using microwave, we are quite away from reception so they wouldn't smell it, i said it's ok i'll just lock the door 😂he said well if they knock you still have to answer it. Well they didn't anyway and we have eaten, washed up and it's back to bed in the suitcase 🤣🤣
I was going to buy a cooked chicken tomorrow and have chicken chips and salad, but he is saying we should go out, i'd rather go out after weigh in at the weekend 🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Thanks @maman; wish I'd known that this morning as my group is over the road from Sainsbury's so I could have popped in! No matter I want to go to Lidl next week so I'll pop in then and just pick up one tube in Tesco tomorrow in case I want it at the weekend! I like the mackerel in mustard sauce but don't like anything in a tomato sauce!
I've put the melon on my shopping list for tomorrow @bubbs.
I'm with you on not going out to eat until after WI at the weekend. You've got plenty of time for that. Chicken, chips and salad sounds good.
I saw the orthopaedic consultant (a Professor!) and he's referred me for further physio as I've only got 2 more sessions paid for by my Beneden subscription. This will be at the local hospital so much closer than going to the next town where I currently go. He's said he'll review me in about 3 months and if necessary will give me more injections.

Tell you what it's times like this where i miss my cupboards as they are always full but having to think everyday is a pain.
Tomorrow i will have ham and melon, soft pitta that needs using with ham and cucumber possibly and some fruit.

Denise, hope you get your physio
I need to make an appointment as think i need another injection in my foot, dunno how long they are supposed to last but it's as bad if not worse now and also my left elbow needs looking at, but i will plod on till after my holidaySealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
@bubbs. I've got the referral for physio but I wasn't able to do anything as the physio department was closed by the time I came back from the hospital (4.30ish!). I'm not too concerned if I've got to wait a while as I've got another session booked for 16th and then I can have another one with the private bloke if I haven't heard from the NHS physio!
Injections can only be given about every 6 months that's my the consultant said he'd review me in 3 months as I had the injections just over 2 months ago.
Definitely get back in touch with your GP particularly if it's been over 6 months since your last injection although the elbow is of course a completely new thing so need to talk to him/her about that as well.

You'd think they would extend there hrs a bt with how far behind they are because of covid..
Think it was Sept when i had my foot injection. The elbow is really painful if i try and straighten it out and if i carry a shopping basket on that arm it as it's my left and i'm right handed it's really painfulalso you can see on the joint how swollen it is

Definitely get in touch with your GP when you get back. If you had your injection in September you're probably due another one anyway and it'll probably take longer than a month to get an appointment anyway!
