Just been on the website and I'm really shocked they've put up the wine syns again!  It's an extra syn per small glass that makes it 36 syns for a bottle now rather than 30!  Me thinks it's going to be a bit of damage limitation after wine today!  @maman take note! and anyone else who drinks wine!

It's the first I've actually come across since I went to group on Wednesday.  I've no doubt I'll find more as time goes on!

    Evening all

You are all very correct- I’m a brand obsessive 😂I do like a bit of Primarni though- I use their jeans as a measure of success. I love their super stretch jeans- really comfy. I have to laugh as I’m being a brand slave today- Superdry hoodie, Hollister t-shirt, Pringle socks, Lululemon leggings, Asics trainers. I guess it’s because when I was growing up I always wanted to wear the ‘trendy’ stuff and couldn’t as I was too big. I’ve just become a bit obsessive with it now.

Our shower has broke again- grrrr. I get my student finance on Monday thankfully so we can get a new one and hopefully won’t have to wait too long to have it fitted.

For this reason I actually went to the gym this
evening for the first time since joining two weeks ago 😂I had a very nice 20 minute swim- I’m in quite a lot of pain at the minute (flipping fibromyalgia grrr) so the warm water in the pool was really helpful. I then spent almost as long in the shower as I did in the pool 😂😂 but it was fantastic- power shower and perfectly warm. Bliss! Practically had to be dragged out 😂😂

Came home and cooked Chinese chicken- it’s a PoN recipe from their website and was rather lovely. I changed up my breakfast this morning as well- it was nice to have something different.

    Today’s menu:
B: HEXB 30g Lizi’s low sugar granola, blueberries and FF natural Greek yoghurt with a tbsp of Skinny white choc syrup (0.5) Decaf coffee with 1/2 HEXA 1 oat milk
L: SW meal pot and veg, Skinny bar (3)
    Snack after gym: Crisps (6.5)
D- PoN Chinese Chicken, Wholegrain noodles, veg. Chocolate (4.5)
    S: Savoury muffins.
    Syns: 14.5

    Lots of love xx

Delighted for you @Jellybaby! Great loss. 👏👏👏

I'd have been thrilled with STS @bubbs instead of my gain. Hope you enjoyed picky tea for a change. 😊

That's devastating news about the wine @joedenise. ☹️ It can't be down to changed recipes. I think I'll have to have more 2 day weekends or more gin! 🤣

I've had a good day today. Alcohol free, plenty of Body Magic as I've been dancing all evening and I took a pasta salad for dinner.

I went to Morrison's and got some fishcakes for the freezer.

    Today's EE plan -
B- bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- LO casserole (F, S P), pickled cabbage (S)
    D- Pasta salad (P, F, S), banana (F)
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

    Went and weighed yesterday.
Oh dear ! Our U3A wine group on Thursday and lunch with friends on Friday were as good as I’d thought.
if there was a ‘most gained in a week’ I’d have won it easily 🤣
line drawn and back on it

Morning all, weather is looking a bit better this morning - I can actually see the houses behind us; couldn't even see the end of the garden yesterday morning because of the fog!  Very damp out there though.  Was going to do some washing today but think I'll leave it until tomorrow in the hopes that it's drier.

Damage limitation for me until WI on Wednesday after yesterday's wine syns!  So today's plan:

    B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomato & baked beans - P; S; F
    L - burger and onions in wholemeal roll - HEB; S; 0.5
D - roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, roasted carrots, peppers, onions, cauliflower, green beans, peas - P; S; F
    S - LO roast potatoes, piccalilli - F: 0.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - wholemeal roll
    Syns - burger 0.5; flour 2.5; piccalilli 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Edit:  it brightened up a couple of hours after I posted this so did the washing.  Unfortunately it started to rain about 1 o'clock so had to get it in from the line but at least it was almost dry.

Sounds like you're enjoying life @Suffolksue. If it takes a bit longer to get to where you'd like to be then that's fine. As you said, line drawn and back to it. 😉

I'll be sensible from tomorrow onwards but I'm OK this week as I had a very low syn Saturday. 🤞🏼 I can get back into range this week but I might not leave it 8 weeks until next time to see if I can get a bit lower. It's a fairly quiet month socially so I'm more in control of my meals. It would be great to be just below target so I had a bit of leeway.

I like to pick at LO roast potatoes on a Sunday evening too @joedenise. It often means my lunches from the LO veg are SP as no potatoes left. 😁

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, banana (F), red berries (S)
L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), rocket and pickles (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😋

    Afternoon all

I agree Denise weather a lot better than last couple of days.

Maman i must have missed how much you gained or forgotten if i commented on it 😂

I am another that is not a brand person

Well my Dad was taken in hospital yesterday :( then don't know what it wrong yet , should have more of an idea tomorrow, although he has not been well since before Christmas , only had bloods and samples done this week at the docs and told everything is normal, well before this episode it was not normal, as he has been going runny no2 at least every hr for days/weeks!! Now he is bleeding badly and  anaemic .

Mum rang 111 yesterday then it all went nuts!

My sister took them, they had to go to urgent care 2 towns away, who was waiting at the door when they got there, seen him said he had to got back to other town A&E who were also waiting for him. Then Mum was not allowed to stay as she could not keep up with the walking (she has 2 sticks) when they were moving him, so my sister stayed and got in at 2 this morning.

So fingers crossed nothing nasty 🙏🙏

We are at the theatre tomorrow evening, or should be.

    Food today

    Bacon and mushroom stuffed pitta.

Roast beef, 2 yorkies, veg and gravy , 6 syns.
