Morning all, well it's just afternoon really! All the washing done and hanging on the line, well most of it is on the line but run out of pegs so have put a few bits on the airer in the sun! It's really lovely and bright this morning but extremely cold.
I've finally got round to doing a freezer inventory so will menu plan for the rest of the month after lunch now that I know what I've got in there! There seems to be plenty of HM ready meals, loads of rolls some of which are HEBs but there are quite a few which are not so DH can have those ones and I'll stick with the WM ones! The only thing I'm sure I'm going to need to buy is some butcher's sausages are there are none left at all; just one box of Linda McCartney red onion ones.
Have done a mini menu plan for the weekend but that's about it! Don't really want to go shopping until Tuesday if I can help it.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes - P; S; F
L - stuffed peppers - peppers stuffed with a flavoured couscous topped with cheese - HEA2; S; 1
D - chickpea and butternut squash tagine, herby couscous - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - none planned
Syns - flavoured couscous 1
Have a good day everyone and enjoy the sunshine (if you have it!).

Enjoy your break and rest @TakeItEazy. It's been a tough term for you between your DH and Covid. 😊
My DD2 has Covid. Not surprised as her staff team were going down like flies last week. She's supposed to be going away on Wednesday for a short break but feeling rough at the moment so who knows? 🤔
Lovely and sunny here too @joedenise and washing on the line after a frosty start. I've made your curry recipe today. I thought I'd make it early to allow the chicken to marinate in the sauce. As, unlike you, I was making it at home I added in some extra Speed with spinach and peppers and I'll add some mushrooms when reheating.
I needed some Aldi skinny sausages yesterday. I noticed they had about 20p off and the packaging looked different so I scanned the bar code and the app didn't recognise them. I put in the food values and it still came up at 0.5 syn per sausage but noticed that these are 57g each whereas 'old' ones were 60g. I just hope they still taste good.
My team is playing away today so I'll make some more swede & carrot mash for tomorrow and the freezer while I'm listening to the radio this afternoon.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, banana (F), raspberries (S)
L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), beetroot (S)
D- chicken curry (P,S), HM pilau rice (F)
Syns- weekend wine😁1 -

Another bloody sts! 🙄
Been to see dad just got back, surprised how well he looks but very thin

So frustrating @bubbs. ☹️ No idea what you can try to shift a few pounds. 🤔 How is your sister doing with WW? Perhaps she could suggest something. I've known people successfully combine other 'diets' with SW like 5/2 and calorie counting. Perhaps there's something different about WW although I think they've changed to be more like SW.
Hopefully your dad will sleep better tonight as he settles back in his own bed. Good that you have been able to visit though. How's your mum coping? 🤔1 -
Hope you enjoy the curry @maman. If I'd been at home I would also have added in more Speed veg like spinach and mushrooms!
Glad your dad is looking well @bubbs even if a bit thin. Perhaps he'll start putting a bit of weight on now he's had his operation and he's back to home cooking. Hopefully he'll start sleeping better too once he's settled down at home.
That is so frustrating for you @bubbs with another STS. Like @maman said perhaps you could see if WW offers any different ideas. I know you don't want to calorie count (neither would I!) but perhaps 5:2 might work to move things a bit if you can cope with have low calories food for 2 days a week but I think that might be a step too far for you only having 800 calories!
Look after yourself @TakeItEazy and have a good rest over the next couple of weeks.
I've just finished my month's menu plan and hopefully will be shifting enough stuff out of the chest freezer so that I can defrost it next month! I'm planning on most of our main meals to come from stuff in the freezer so hopefully my shopping will be a bit cheaper. The only meat/fish I need to buy are some low fat sausages from the butcher and some smoked haddock and salmon fillets from the new butcher/fishmonger in the next town.
Most of this month's shopping will be fruit, veg and eggs; will also need some cheddar and soft cheese, probably Primula.

My sister is target at WW, but i would never eat all the points, the more fruit /veg/salad you eat the more points you get !! She has a chocolate bar and crisps everyday to use points but to me that is just extra eating 🤔 I did look at WW online.
Hope he will sleep better otherwise there will be a murder 😂
Mum seems to be coping ok, she worries at every move incase he falls, he had not been in the shower when i got there so she was going to help him, they do have a fixed shower seat for mum. They don't shower them in hospital now only bed bath so he has not had one for over a week 😯
Just before i was leaving he wanted a pee, so she says don't forget to move your pants, and shut the door bubbs doesn't want to see your little wee willy winkie 🤣🤣🤣 i looked at her and she said he keeps forgetting so then has an accidentShe then says can you manage? he says no not really, so at least he says so and mum went to help him.
Just needs some routine and i said to mum make sure you ask us for help if you need itSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
I guessed that you would have had bits of Speed to add if you were at home @joedenise. It smells good so I'm sure we'll enjoy it. 😋 Well done for getting a month's meals sorted. 👏👏👏
I don't think the HEB is the answer @bubbs and anyway you often have a soft pitta or a roll with a burger. Perhaps it's worth trying a week to shut the consultant up. You could try a week of WW just to see if it works for you. 🤔
It's early days getting into a routine for your mum and dad but each day should be easier. No idea why they can't shower. I'd have thought they'd want people to practise ready for going home. People would feel better and fresher too. 🤔1 -

I can't do ww without the app really as tou input everything and it generates our points.
Yes very early days but if he goes for the other treatment all routine will be out the window as he will have to go every day .
The last couple of days he was in bed most of the day as they were scared he would fall when he was wanderingSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Curry was a big success @joedenise. Probably because we're greedy, not enough for 2 meals so I'll need to think of a way to stretch it. I'll have the LOs on a JP tomorrow.
Does your dad have a choice of times/hospital for his treatments @bubbs? Friends have had daily treatment recently and went early in the day to get it out of the way. 🤗1
