Has been a good day. Went to Greenways this morning, Agatha Cristie's house. Never seen so much crockery in a single cupboard! and boxes of all sorts all over the house. The gardens were lovely, particularly the camellias, such lovely flowers.
Went out to lunch and had a lovely piece of sea bass with warm new potatoes, vegetables and samphire - there was loads of samphire and quite honestly I think it's absolutely pointless and didn't really add to the dish. I'd have been happy with just the potatoes and veg.
We're both full again as we ate quite late so it's going to be the last of the chicken curry with a mini naan bread later for dinner.
Back on plan 100% from tomorrow.

So pleased you enjoyed Greenways @joedenise. Lucky Agatha having that as a holiday home. They filmed one of the last Poirot episodes there with a fete in the lovely gardens.
Wishing you a very happy birthday and you must tell us how you made the super chicken curry. 🎂
Back soon with today's menu. 😊0 -
It was my usual recipe @maman but for some reason just seemed much nicer! Fried off a couple of onions for about 15 minutes until softened, sprinkled over 2 Tbs medium curry powder, tsp each garlic granules (didn't have any fresh), turmeric, coriander and cumin, added a little water so they didn't stick. Once they'd lost the rawness added a can of chopped tomatoes and a couple of chicken oxo crumbled and once hot added cut up chicken and then cooked for about half an hour.
Right off to eat the rest of the curry with another naan bread!

Thanks @joedenise, I'll give that curry a try.
That's a brilliant saving on the salmon @bubbs. I'm sure your dad will start eating properly and build his strength when he gets back to proper home cooking.
Today is the first day of a new week for me and I'm hoping to stay completely on plan. No plans to eat out until next Friday. I don't feel fat but going over syns will catch up if I'm not careful. We had a stir fry tonight using the rest of the 10p bag of veg and the last of the pork cut into strips. Martin would be proud of me.😇 It's definitely possible to be mse and follow SW. I've just taken a photo of the meter readings just to check that we don't get charged the new rate too soon.
Today's EE menu-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (S)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese, ham (P), beetroot, spring onion (S)
D- pork stir fry (P,S) with noodles (F)
Syns- sweet chilli sauce 1
