Lunch and tea, also got baked apple with mincemeat for pudding, apart from I moved the sweet cinnamon so I didn't put it on the chips, but obviously didn't put it where it should be as can't find it 🙈 so normal cinnamon insteadSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0

L - Veg chilli, salad leaves, tomatoes - S

Morning, just nipping on quickly as busy day of work ahead. Breakfast was toast (HEXB) and jam (2 syns), lunch is the last of the bacon medallions, mushrooms and tomatoes and dinner is spaghetti bolognaise with parmesan (HEXA).
Hope you all have a lovely day!0 -
Morning all! Glad all going well with your dad Bubbs. Well done to the losers, & commiserations to those not sleeping well, I feel your pain, would really like to get a straight few hours.
Feeling a bit sorry for myself, had to make an emergency dental appointment, no pain, but something not quite right. Was lucky, phoned on Monday, appointment yesterday. In this situation, I don't care who I see and my dentist had a bub in January, so it was her locum, very efficient. 1 x-ray, prescription & £65 later, on anti-biotics with appointment for extraction next weekBig infection under the tooth in the gum, but as there is no nerve, it is likely to be a re-occurring infection which will make the tooth unviable, so will need to be extracted to protect the gum. I think I half expected to hear that, but still not what you want to hear. Luckily, it is a back tooth, so invisible
A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Glad the dentist could see you so quickly @Gettingtherequickly and that you won't be suffering for much longer. Better it comes out than risk further infections down the line, especially as it's at the back.

So much going on that it's surprising we have time to think about what to eat! 🤣
To be honest, I find meal planning is far more efficient than having to think about each day or each meal. It's also very mse too, prevents waste and speeds up shopping because we know what we need to buy.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that has cauliflower cheese as a side dish @Jellybaby. I feel so greedy and extravagant when I see people having it on its own as a meal.
Hopefully the spices will get through @Coxy11. I think there are some taste bids on the tongue but most of what we taste is based on smell. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to go on your walk though.
I'm out to eat again tonight. It's a country pub we go to regularly and there's usually something SW friendly on the menu although wine syns will be involved. 😉
I had scrambled eggs with HEB toast for breakfast. I called into Asda yesterday evening when I was buying petrol. They had some 10p YS veg so, as well as a few other bits, I bought a bag of stir fried veg so I'll have some of that for my lunch with a syn or two of sweet chilli sauce.0 -
Ruby is having cauliflower cheese tonight @maman but you've both now put me in the mood for it so will add it to tomorrow night's dinner
Just had a text from eldest DS, he'll be home in six weeks time for six weeks!! I've waited a long time for this and what great incentive to stick to plan haha (I've already told him to bring some NZ choc for his gran but NONE for me!)0 -
Sorry @Jellybaby, hope you enjoy the cauliflower cheese that I planned for you. 🤣 I took it off the menu when I started SW but since the extra HEA was introduced I've been enjoying cheese sauce again. 😋
Great news about your DS and another incentive to get a few more pounds off. 😬1 -
Apologies for making you all want cauliflower cheese now 🤣 Change of plan for lunch today - decided to have a tuna rice bowl instead and made extra for lunch tomorrow. Was going to buy lunch as I'm in the office tomorrow but decided to be a bit more MSE about it 👍 So will have to just make do with the free costa coffee that I'm due instead 😆Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171
