I went to the Company Shop this afternoon @bubbs on my way to Aldi. Unusually they had fish so stocked up on cod and haddock fillets. They varied a bit by weight but averaged £1.60 ish for 2 decent fillets from Ocado. DH's favourite Wensleydale with cranberry was £1 with a long date and got a chicken and other bits. Freezer now fairly packed.

We're having Morrison's fishcakes for dinner so 2 syns. At Company shop prices, it would be cheaper to have 100% fish! 🤣

Thanks for the insurance info @joedenise. I've used LV before but don't have any packaged accounts. Car insurance is due soon too so I'll have to spend time on comparison sites. ☹️

Have a good evening @Coxy11. I think you're supposed to take senna at night anyway. 🤔

Glad the birthday celebrations went well @ruby_eskimo.
I saw a TV programme about the shard.
    Looked amazing.
Way over my budget though sadly.

    Poor you @bubbs.
She should not have been or her blooming phone or faffing about with her dogs.

    Morning,
Got home at 1.30am after a fun night. Now feeling a bit jaded so the walk to group will be most welcome. I'm just having a tea before I go. Couldn't find the senna - was sure I had some in the cupboard. No news there still (since Weds!!) so maybe the walk will make a difference!
Back later to update on (hopefully) a loss ;)

Bubbs, would definitely get it checked out. I was in an incident like that (we were pretty much stationary and an idiot decided she was going to set up another lane of traffic and managed to write off 5 vehicles because of the way we shunted into each other). Having had to suffer the indignity of being driven off the scene by the police, it happened in an underpass and apparently we are not allowed away from it ourselves, the officer insisted that if I wouldn’t go by ambulance, I had to get someone to take me to A&E, as there is always the risk of concussion.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Well done @Coxy11, great loss 👏👏👏 and congratulations on your half stone award.

Enjoy the party tonight.  Are you planning on eating your chilli before you go so that you aren't hungry?  That's a good plan especially if it's a buffet!

Thanks @joedenise, no I'm taking cruditees and the SW chilli plus rice. I have a buffet server food warmer so will put the rice in there once we are at the hall. Will avoid anything beige including the tortilla chips and dip!
