    Evening everyone
Sorry about your accident and to hear about your dad, bubbs xx

I’ve been lurking again- work has been absolutely awful this week, incredibly busy.
I tried the dress on again with better underwear and shapewear, and I’m a lot happier with it. I’ve got curves I didn’t know I had! The necklace I ordered arrived as well and it looks really good. (I’ve still ordered a backup from Boohoo though 😂)

I’m determined to lose a stone before next month. I’ve been going on a half hour walk round the village every day and there’s some pretty tough hills in the village. I think I’m losing inches- I wore a skirt today that when I bought it was tight but it’s quite loose now. I also bought a top from Matalan that I saw online- I decided to look for it in the shop as they didn’t have my size online. They only had a 16 in the shop which I thought would never fit but when I tried it on it fitted nicely. Hopefully I’ll lose some inches as I’m finding it difficult to budge the weight, think I’ve plateaued a bit which is frustrating.
    Today’s food:
B: HEXB Lizi’s granola, blueberries, yoghurt. Coffee with HEXA
L: Sweet potato and onion bhaji bowl (3.5) Popchips (3.5) HiFi bar (3)
D- SW chicken katsu curry, rice and veg (5) Guinness (3)
    Syns: 18

    Night all xx

Morning all, another lovely day so another load of washing being done!  Haven't not much planned today but may go out for a walk along the beach later.

@MrsRyan - if you feel you've plateaued is it worth trying to cut back to no more than 15 syns a day now as it may be because you're getting near to the weight where you would need to (although I don't know that for sure, just an assumption!)

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - spicy carrot and lentil soup - P; S; F
D - roast gammon, roast potatoes, roasted carrots & peppers, cabbage, green beans and peas - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - none planned
    Syns - sausages 2; couple of G&Ts maybe 6

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone,

Sounds like some great purchases @Mrs_Ryan - I was talking to a friend on Friday who lost 4 stone in lockdown due to anxiety. She was saying it's hard to shop now as she still gravitates towards larger sizes when actually something more fitted suits her better, but it's hard when shopping online. I think our minds tell us that xx size won't fit, when it actually does.

Enjoy your beach walk @joedenise. I'm meeting a friend for a walk this morning and we are taking our own coffee. It's currently bright and sunny here.

The party was good fun but as usual I felt like chief cook and bottle washer! I made a SW veg chilli in the slow cooker at home and DH cooked 2kg of rice at the hall. I cut up all the crudites when we got there. Had untold offers of help from random other family members and guests, but the kitchen wasn't really large enough. I was trying to wash up as we went throughout the night and only managed two small diet cokes, so my head is banging this morning due to dehydration. We got home at midnight and then I had to take DS2's gf home so in bed for 12.30am!

    Food today:
    B - poached eggs, bacon, toms - P, S
L -  LO veg chilli, WM roll - S, HEB
D - SW lamb curry, rice - 2.5 syns (uses curry paste)
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel light
Snacks - pineapple, hi fi bar 3
    Total syns - 5.5

    Have a good day all

    Morning all

Thanks all about my Dad x

It's worse than they said at first regarding Dad 😥😥 they got called back to the hospital Friday morning, so that was everyday at the hospital last week.

He will not be having chemo, he is having a stoma fitted this week, Mum seems to think tomorrow they will be told when, then e has radiotherapy everyday for 4 weeks i think she said, then if it has shrunk enough surgery to remove but it has spread to the lymph nodes and is a big tumour 😥😥 but they don't know how he will react to the anaesthetic as he has never had one 😱 (and his age) never ill, never had an op , never had flu, never really has a cold just hayfever.

On other news it's a beautiful morning, im going to do some makes to keep me busy and on track

Have a good day all x

So sorry to hear that about your dad @bubbs.  As @Coxy11 says the hospital seem to have a plan of action going forward.

Definitely good idea to keep busy today with making some things to keep yourself on track.  I see quiche, boiled eggs, scotch eggs etc ahead!
