I have managed to get all the bedding mostly dry, it started to rain so darted out to get it in but by the time i had got it in it stopped 😂 not had any since, not a bad day!

I have made a quiche, put pulled pork in the slow cooker for tomorrow , not had that in ages! Made a cheesecake for pudding 😋
Had ham and cheese spread egg wraps and we have roast chicken , veg, yorkies for tea.

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. Hope you're OK and have a better week. 😊

I'm sure you'll be pleased to be home @Coxy11. You've had a great week. Not much need to rein in for you. 👍

Brilliant photo of the cheesecake @bubbs. 😁

I've had lots of syns but enjoyed them all. 😋 Last night I had mussels in a garlic cream sauce but didn't 'drink' much sauce. My main was delicious tortellini with hake, prawns and mushrooms. Yum!

Today I've been dancing with a shared tea. Easily ignored cakes and sandwiches and stuck to fruit and cheese cubes. I did have a few crisps. 😉 I came home to a beef in' red wine ' casserole with loads of veg. So definitely a' good when I can ' weekend. 😊

    Morning everyone,

I'm home :) We couldn't eat in the fish restaurant yesterday as the queue was out the door - Cypriots usually eat out on Sundays with their families - it's a big thing. We went into an Illy coffee cafe, and I had a salad with chicken, goats cheese, sundried tomatoes and little pimento peppers. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it - no guilt! Flight was great - I had a whole row to myself and we landed early. Took a fruit salad and a hi fi bar on the plane and had peppermint tea. The cabin manager was hilarious and kept us giggling all the way home. Great to see someone so happy in their job! I never quite adjusted to Cyprus time (2 hours ahead) so no issue getting up for work this morning.

Back to normality today - wfh and then a food shop after as DH didn't go this weekend as there was enough in. I am in desperate need of fresh fruit - DH doesn't eat fruit at all unless I make a crumble(!) or OJ from the milkman. Will have to go out at lunchtime to local Ts and get some supplies.

I am now on day 11 of TOTM which is just ridiculous - obviously going through some sort of phase into the new me :(  All well and good but just very draining and so uncomfortable. I have weighed, and have lost - a lot - but expect once I start eating normally here again it won't be quite so good at group on Saturday. Will wait and see. Not sure what food will be so will be back later.

Lovely that you had mussels @maman and your main course sounds amazing too.

Morning all,  Another lovely day and with very little wind.  Might have a look and see if I have enough washing to do a load.

Glad you had a good birthday @maman and your meal sounded lovely.  Good you enjoyed all your syns!  Nothing worse than using them and not enjoying!

Sounds like you had a great flight @Coxy11.  You've done well to lose whilst on holiday with no control over your food.  Perhaps the twice a day eating helped!

    Today's plan:

B - American style pancakes, mixed frozen fruit, yoghurt, maple syrup - HEB; S; F; 2
    L - ham and veg omelette - P; S
    D - chicken and chorizo rice using some of yesterday's LO chicken - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - maple syrup 2; chorizo 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, a windy day here and already have a load of washing out on the line but rain expected soon.

Your meal sounds fab maman and fingers crossed for Saturday Coxy.  I had ten days of misery and I too hope I'm moving to a new phase!!

Bran flakes (HEB) with f/f yoghurt and strawberries for breakfast, lentil soup for lunch and 'firecracker' chicken for dinner.  Another new recipe from Slimming Eats DS is trying out.  Think it's one pot with chicken, rice and loads of veg

It's brilliant how your DS is prepared @Jellybaby, not just to cook for you both, but to do SW friendly recipes. That's a huge bonus. It's much more difficult to stay on plan when people are eating differently from the rest of the family. I hope the firecracker chicken goes down well.

That sounds like an excellent flight @Coxy11. 🤞🏼 you get the very best weightloss at next WI.

Is that an oven baked rice dish @joedenise or more like risotto or paella? 🤔 When I do my chicken jambalaya recipe, it's rice, veg, tomatoes/stock all done in the oven.

I'm having an on plan day today but a bit limited in what's available. I deliberately did a very small shop this week as I knew we'd be eating out for most of it. We're off to London tomorrow and staying over for a change instead of our usual day trips. Back on Thursday night and then I'll shop again on Friday. I probably will have lots of syns but as long as I enjoy them I won't mind. The hotel only does a basic 'continental' breakfast so I just hope they have wholemeal bread at least.

    To0day's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), mushrooms (S)
L- ham (P), potatoes (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- baked cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), roast veg (S)
    Syns- 0

@maman the dish is more like a risotto and cooked on the hob.  I usually use risotto rice but as we've had risotto recently thought I'd try it with paella rice for a change and see how much difference it makes, if any!  I think it'll probably turn out drier than a risotto and not as creamy but we'll see.  Will probably grate a bit of parmasan on the top as I haven't had my 2nd HEA so it can be part of that!  It's a bit like a jambalaya although I don't use tomatoes in it just stock.

Enjoy your trip to London and most of all enjoy your syns!  Is it worth ringing the hotel and asking about wholemeal bread?  It's a pity they don't do a full breakfast as you can at least get some semblance of a SW friendly meal!

    Hello again,

I had breakfast at 10.30am (hmmm maybe I AM still on Cyrus time lol) and popped to Ts at lunchtime to get fruit and veg. Food today:

    B - poached eggs, tomatoes, WM bread - P, S, B
L - smoked peri mackerel, mixed lettuce, toms, pickles, gherkins, beetroot - 2, S
    D - pineapple, fruit salad - S*
*need to do a big shop and don't want to go hungry. DH and DS2 having prawn curry (jar of sauce) so don't want to have that. Still in the mindset of two meals a day!
